Delta is Adding Flights to Punta Cana from Pittsburgh
Starting December 21st, Delta Airlines plans to add weekly flights from Pittsburgh International Airport to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Delta currently offers 33 daily flights to seven U.S. destinations from Pittsburgh, as well as flights to Paris, France (Pittsburgh's only nonstop trans-Atlantic service).

Delta Air Lines marketed Costa Rica with new flights. Amid music and dances, the Juan Santamaria International Airport received the inaugural direct flight from Los Angeles, California, by a Delta Air Lines Boeing 757-200 which has a capacity for 180 passengers. This connection generates 1,260 weekly seats available, or 65,520 seats per year.
This flight represents highly relevant news for Costa Rica because the country is now being bound daily and directly to the state of California, U.S.A. California has the highest concentration of top prospects and it is the second generator of tourists to Costa Rica.

The Adventure Racing World Championship Costa Rica (ARWC) 2013 organization is defining the final details with a view to the competition to be held in Costa Rica from November 29 and December 12.
This competition will be a huge challenge for the participating teams. They will cross from coast to coast (the Pacific to the Caribbean), and from border to border (Nicaragua to Panama). They will traverse 815 km (506 mi) of rural areas, tracts, mountains, rivers, and beaches. This competition is the culmination of the Adventure Racing World Series, the circuit's most prestigious global competition. It will be attended by delegates from all continents.

Panama has become the second richest country in Latin-America after Chile. While Peru is now richer than Colombia. This is according to a Latinvex analysis of new data from the International Monetary Fund. The analysis used data for gross domestic product based on purchasing-power-parity (PPP) per capita GDP in international dollars to measure wealth. The analysis excludes Argentina, which has been criticized for having unreliable data.

Dolphin Discovery announces the birth of 2 sea lions in Puerto Aventuras and Cozumel. For the third time, thanks to a breeding program called Miracle. Under human supervision, "Luna", gave birth to a baby sea lion inside Puerto Aventuras facilities. This beautiful suckling yet unnamed, is in perfect condition. Visitors can see him happily interacting with his mother. Prior to this, a second birth of a sea lion was recorded this month in a dolphinarium in Cozumel. In this instance, it was a female, the daughter of "Karla". This newborn is under the constant supervision of trainers and veterinarians.
