Karin Decker Noss Scholarship

Are you passionate about ending breast cancer? Do you have a desire to learn about the science of breast cancer? The Karin Decker Noss Scholarship funds training in medical research and legislative advocacy to carry on the work that Karin began.
The $5,000 reimbursable award will be available to the recipient for a 24 month period. Funds may be used for expenses such as travel, lodging, meals, and registration fees for approved conferences and educational courses.

The Prince William Chapter hit the ground running in 2014!

On January 20 the Prince William Chapter hosted a literature table at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Oratorical Contest at the Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge. Senator Mark Warner and Congressman Gerry Connolly were also in attendance.
The Prince William Chapter participated in the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Project at Ebenezer Baptist Church on January 25 in Woodbridge. The event, hosted by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., brought together area churches and local health organizations to provide screening and education to African-American women.
On February 22 the chapter represented VBCF at the 2014 Flip for the Fight hosted by GMS Gymnastics. In addition to the gymnastics tournament there was a silent auction, raffle and baked goods sale to benefit VBCF.

It's a Fashion Fiesta!

The Peninsula Chapter is hosting its 21st Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show on Saturday, April 12, 2014. The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina Hotel in Hampton, VA . Fashions will be provided by Dress Barn - Kiln Creek. Participants will also enjoy a silent auction and quilt raffle.
