A Message from the President
|
Doug Wogoman, President
| No one is happier than our crews to see signs of spring, and this spring, we're wrapping up a number of highly satisfying projects. Among them are four sizeable church projects that began last year. Sugar Grove & Clinton Frame in Goshen, Harvest Bible Chapel in Granger, and Twin City Baptist in Mishawaka all were able to open their doors to bigger crowds by Easter. More people translates into more exposure to what a life of faith might mean, and we're excited about that.

Speaking of highly satisfying work, 29-year employee JC Schrock shares where the Hawks Arts & Enterprise project stands on his personal continuum of rewarding projects. He walked through an old, tired building 10 years ago and saw its potential. Being a part of LaCasa's team to transform it was incredible.
You might have read The Elkhart Truth article about our sponsoring Bob Lupton to speak to our local churches and agencies about healthy charity. Lupton's message continues to resonate with those involved in charity work. If you attended, we trust you found this time meaningful.
As you read through the remainder of the newsletter, you'll find out what our Service Group, led by Robb Huber, has been up to. Bob Schrock, our CEO and fearless leader, receives a distinguished honor from his Alma Mater, Purdue University Lyles School of Civil Engineering.
Happy Spring, from all of us at DJ Construction.
