Greetings!

 I have always believed that the people that walk into my office for personal and/or spiritual growth are already out on the cutting edge of development. The folks who visit are not content with old ways of parenting, old models of marriage-not content with "comfortably sleepwalking" through life. This month's letter is for all of you.

Go Commando!!!

I sat with some friends last week and we chatted about an old book called "Radical Aliveness" .... and how an intentional here-and-now Presence can be so enjoyable in our relationships to friends and family for both listener and speaker. One friend remarked about how our society with our "partial attention disorder" (i.e. shuttling back and forth from cell phone, ipod, kindle, etc) is moving all of us away from the capacity to be present and fully aware. I said, "I know, I get so easily distracted that I can get caught with my un-awares down!"

You don't want to get caught with your unawares down. The solution? Go Commando! That's right ... make the commitment right here - right now to let yourself experience the freedom, the thrill and the rawness of whatever life has for you this day. .. with no deflective 100% cotton barriers! Joy, disappointment, achievement, loss, ecstasy or fatigue - bring it on! Let us greet each moment with a naked acceptance, open palmed, without judgement, without resistance.
