RESOURCES CAN COME IN MANY DIFFERENT FORMS
Wouldn't you like to know exactly how the dollars we give to Lutheran Disaster Response, or to Lutheran World Hunger, or to Lutheran World Relief are actually used? Maybe you would like to know more about what Lutheran volunteers do when they go out and join FEMA at a tornado site, or a huge fire disaster.
Or maybe you have heard that Lutheran Services of America touches the lives of most Americans, and you would like to know just how that is happening. Well, those stories of our benevolence dollars are ready to share! We have stories to tell, stories of "God's Work. Our Hands." and they are all available through the MISSION INTERPRETER PROGRAM of our ELCA.
Suzanne O'Dea is our Synod's Mission Interpreter.
On a regular and timely basis, Suzanne can provide you with stories to share with your congregation, stories of God's amazing work among us. When we tell stories, we remind ourselves and each other of what we hold to be important. As Christians, we value the opportunity to do God's work with our hands, and with our gifts of money. We want to tell others what God has done in our congregations, in our Sierra Pacific Synod, and through the national and international efforts of our ELCA. We love hearing these great stories!
Contact Suzanne and tell her you'll help tell those stories in your congregation! You can be the resource your congregation has been hoping for!
You can reach Suzanne at mic@spselca.org.
