What's New
Included in this update:
  1. Change Order tweaks:
    • From now on, when you use a Change order and attempt to add/substitute/delete/change Quantity the system will search to see if the item already exists in the contract and it will change that item instead of adding a new one. Also, if you have multiple items on the same Change Order (within the same kit) their quantities will be combined to affect the current contract rather than affect it multiple times. This means that you can for example, add a plant that already exists in the contract, and rather than adding a new item, it will just increase the existing item's quantity. Also, if labor is attached to a plant or material, those will be merged and combined to find a new total duration as well.

    • When an item is added via a Change Order and it already exists on the current contract within the same work area and kit, then the two will get merged. All duplicate items will be merged and the quantities added together.

    • Several corrections to sales tax calculations have been made to prevent incorrect totals being displayed on the Current Contract after approving Change Orders that contain taxable items.

    • A rare issue affecting the payment line items after adjusting a Change Order Sub Total has been resolved. The correct values were saved but the payment line items displayed incorrectly.

    • On Change Order Approval, the total for each sales tax displayed on the Current Contract will be more accurate. In some cases, the sales tax of the estimate plus the sales tax of an approved the change order may differ by a few cents. This is expected and acceptable.
    • When changing the number of hours of a  labor item in a Change Order, the change did not always update the total of the work area. Now when changes are made, the work area total will update correctly.

  2. Speed improvements to Estimate Won function:
    • The Estimate Won procedure has been improved to prevent the Job Actuals tab from being empty. Estimate Won and creating a new version of an approved estimate are now faster.

  3. Customer import from Quickbooks
    • Importing customers from Quickbooks should no longer fail because of a problem with the CustomerTypeID and will also have their Sales Tax set correctly, i.e. If "Account Type Default" is set to Commercial and "Default Sales Tax for Commercial Accounts" is set to HST then imported accounts will be Commercial with Sales Tax set to HST.
