Included in this update:

We are listening!! Based on your feedback we have added some enhancements to Timesheets that will save you time. For those of you that have employees have different start and end times for the same job, you will no longer have to add a job to the Timesheet multiple times. We have also added the option to batch approve Timesheets.

Employee Start/End Times - you will now be able enter specific start and end times for each employee in the Job Log for contract jobs and in the Work Order for non-contract jobs.
  • Each employee can have the same start/end time or different.
  • Enter start and end times for each employee by going into the Job Log or Work Order.
  • If an employee has no start/end time on the Job Log or Work Order, the assumption is that employee did not work on that job.
  • Once you enter start/end times and hours in the Job Log or Work Order the start/end times on the Timesheet will be read only. To edit the start/end times you must go back into the Job Log or Work Order.    

 

Batch Approve - you're now able to batch approve Timesheets that are marked "Ready for Approval" only provided there are no errors. The batch approve dialogue will show all warnings and errors so that you can address each Timesheet before approving them.

 

Rename Job Actuals Items - you are now able to rename items added on the Job Log and in Job Actuals. We have done this for those companies that would only like to add lump sum amounts against the job for the purpose of Job Costing. 

  • Note: this small feature enhancement allows for this type of work around but we maintain that the best practice for tracking costs is to use the Job Log as originally intended.
