Overview
Workplace mental health is fast becoming one of the highest priority concerns among Canadian employers. The Working Mind (TWM) is an evidence based program designed to reduce stigma and address and promote mental health and resiliency in the workplace. TMW in your organization:- Reduce the stigma of mental illnesses,
- Increase awareness of mental health,
- Offer resources to maintain positive mental health and
- Increase resiliency
Certification outcomes:This certification by the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) trains you to deliver both the full and half-day formats to staff within your organization. Overarching Goals- To support the mental health and wellbeing of employees
- To enable the full productivity of employees
- To ensure the workplace is respectful and inclusive of all employees, including those with mental health problems and mental illnesses
- To encourage employees to seek help for mental health problems and mental illnesses
CostsCurrently costs are $3200/person but will be reduced to $1,875/person provided there are 24 people registered for the workshop. (There are currently 15 confirmed registrations for the December 12-16th, 2016 workshop). Lunch will be provided each day. This includes a two-year license for trainers to train staff within your organization. There is an additional $10 certificate fee for each staff person who takes the half or full day course taught by certified trainers. Terms and ConditionsNote: All fees are plus applicable taxes. The MHCC requires 50% upfront payment in order to secure the dates and confirm instructors for your training. Payment of the final 50% is due on the first day of training. If you are selecting a train-the-trainer option, MHCC requires upfront payment for anticipated certificate fees for year one. A memorandum of understanding will be required between your organization and the MHCC. The MHCC will contact the registrant to facilitate the signing of the memorandum of understanding and issue an invoice. Payments will be made directly to the MHCC, and details on the payments will be provided by MHCC. Registration Please follow Registration Link to register for this workshop.
