The presentation will address employers' obligations to provide accommodations for qualified disabled individuals under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, and OFCCP requirements both during the application process and in the workplace.  Our presenters will discuss the EEOC's recent enforcement efforts regarding employer attendance and leave policies found to be in violation of the  ADA, as well as suggestions for handling some of the challenges with addressing accommodation requests in the workplace.

We encourage you to join us in participating in this community event. The job fair is FREE to all employers and is sponsored by Computer Skills Institute, Career Advisors who are contracting with DES Rehabilitation Services Administration, and Accounting and Finance Professionals.

 

This is no ordinary job fair.  Employers are encouraged to use the job fair as a community outreach event and at the same time meet quality candidates to fill job openings.  There is NO FEE for a table, so please join us in supporting this event!
