This Sunday, August 30, adult formation will begin.Classes include:
  • Living as a Christian in a Post-Christian World led by Dean Jones
  • Scripture 101 led by Belton Zeigler
  • Growing in Christ led by a team of lay leaders
  • "In the Beginning": A Study of Genesis led by Dane Boston
  • Living Our our Faith as a Family led by a team of lay leaders
  • Trinity Green led by Kathy Robinson

Men of Trinity Fall Kickoff
The Men of Trinity Fall Father/Child Kickoff will be Tuesday, September 1 from 6-8pm in the Workshop. This year's speaker will be USC Head Baseball Coach, Chad Holbrook. Click here to register online.
Children's Ministries Search Committee
The Canon for Children's Ministry Search Committee has been hard at work, and we have considered multiple candidates including Skype interviews and an in-person weekend interview. We know how important it is to find the right person for this position, and we will continue to work until the role is filled.  Please thank all the volunteers who are putting in extra hours to ensure our Children's program continues to function at the high level which we have come to expect. Pray about how you can assist these leaders and pray for the committee (Dean Jones, Canon Dane Boston, Bibs Babson, Jane Clark, Emma Dean, Clark Lee, Jonathan Milling, Lucas Moorman, Llewellyn Shealy, Michael Thigpen, Lisa Vipperman, and Stephen West).

Forum on Worldwide Religious Persecution
In an effort to come together as Christians and Jews in the common bond of this urgent issue, Trinity's Ark Group is pleased to present a forum on the Holocaust and worldwide religious persecution on September 9 at 10am in the Stirling Room. Read more.

Walking the Walk
Join Allison Cox on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-10am for a stroll around the Trinity Center track. Enjoy chatting, laughing, praying and even a bit if exercise! All ability levels welcome.
Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University Returning to Trinity
Financial Peace University (FPU) teaches God's ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more! Classes begins September 16. Preview this Sunday at 10:15am. Join the Choir!
Girls in grades 3 and higher who wish to join the Trinity Youth Chorus are invited to attend the first rehearsal on Tuesday, September 1 from 4:30 - 5:30 in the Choir Room.  This group meets weekly on Tuesdays and sings at the 9:00 service one Sunday each month.
 
Boys and Girls who want to join the accelerated chorister program (twice weekly practices and weekly services, plus tours) and join the Cathedral Choir should contact the music office.  A new class for novice members will begin in January 2016. Calling Adult Singers!
Adults interested in singing with the Cathedral Choir should contact the music office to arrange an audition.  The Adult Choir rehearses on Thursdays from 6:00-8:00.  We will be welcoming new members starting August 27. For more information please contact Dido Heath (dido@trinitysc.org).

Spiritual Gifts Workshop
Beebe James will offer a four-week Spiritual Gifts workshop on Tuesdays beginning October 13 from 5:30-7pm in the Daughters Room. This is an opportunity to learn about spiritual gifts, identify and explore your own gifts for Ministry, and discover the ways in which God may be calling you to serve.
