Have you ever wondered what happens when the children leave through the south transept doors on Sunday mornings?  Do you have the calling to reconnect with the "wee three year olds" through 5th grade youth?  There are so many opportunities to get involved with children's ministries at Trinity.  The Babsons will host a gathering this Wednesday, August 12 at 6pm at to highlight the many areas of Trinity's children's ministries. YAMS Drinks & Discussion: One God, Many Paths?

Are all religions really seeking the same end? Does it really matter what you believe or how you find God? At the root, are Hindus, Muslims, or even Deists really any different? Consider the importance of our particular religious convictions with other young adults at The Kraken Gastropub on Rosewood Drive at 7pm on Tuesday, August 18.

Sabbatical Fund
I was asked the other day what was the most important part of my sabbatical time. The answer was simple. The most important part was a renewal of God's call to me to be a priest. In the midst of daily ministry it is easy to forget God's call. God's call is at the heart of every canon's call to ministry in this place. As others have the opportunity to take sabbatical time I hope you will support them, not just by giving them the time away but by giving to a fund set up to support their renewal. The operating fund does not cover the cost of this time so the sabbatical fund is a way for you to support them. Please consider giving a small gift to Trinity towards this fund. The gift you give will provide Trinity with servants renewed in their call to serve Christ in this place.  - The Rev'd Canon Charles Davis
