Lenten Speaker Series Kicks Off 

This Wednesday we will kick off our Lenten Speakers Series: "A New Call to the Church" with the Rev'd Amos Disasa. Amos will preach at the noonday service at 12:30pm and will speak again at 6:30pm on the theme "A Call to Faithfulness without Pretense."

Amos Disasa is the organizing pastor of Downtown Church in Columbia, SC.

Next Wednesday, March 4, The Rev'd Michael Sullivan will join us for noonday prayer at 12:30pm, a book signing at 5pm and an evening presentation at 6:30pm. Michael is the Rector at Holy Innocents in Atlanta.  

Walking the Labyrinth During Lent

Every Wednesday during Lent, Trinity's Labyrinth will be set up in Averyt Hall and available for you to walk and to pray. Consider making this gentle but powerful prayer tool a recurring part of your Lenten observance.

Compline
End your day on Thursdays during Lent with Compline at 8pm in the Cathedral. The half-hour service is lit entirely by candlelight and sung by Trinity's Cathedral singers. 
Men of Trinity Winter Drop-In Tonight

The Men of Trinity Winter Drop-in is Tuesday, February 24 from 6:30-8:30pm at Ben Grimsley's home. Jack Godbold will be the guest speaker. Click here for more information and to register.  

Symposium at USC with Dean Jones as Panelist

On Thursday, March 5 at 2pm at Rutledge Chapel at USC, the Symposium "The Freedom Train has Jumped the Track: Who Will Tell the People?' will take place. Dr. Henrie Treadwell will be the guest speaker and Dean Jones will serve as a panelist along with three other Deans. Read more here.  

Lecture at USC with The Rev'd Dr. Luke Powery

Join the Rev'd Dr. Luke A. Powery, Dean of Duke University Chapel and Professor at Duke Divinity School on Thursday, March 5 at 7:30pm at USC. He will speak on the topic "Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child: Reading the Bible with the Spirituals." Read more here.  

Lenten Programs for Children: 2 Offerings

On Wednesdays during Lent, there will be two offerings for children.  

5:30-6pm: For parents and children who will NOT be staying for the Wednesday Evening Lenten Program.

6:30-7pm: For the children whose parents will be staying for the Wednesday Evening Lenten Program.

Lenten Speaker Book Signings

The Bookstore will host book signings for our three Lenten speakers who are authors. The book signings will be Wednesdays at 5pm in the Stirling Room. Read more here.

Next Baptism at Trinity

ECW Bena Dial Scholarship

The Bena Dial Scholarship is offered annually to full-time students who are active participants and members of parishes of the diocese. The deadline to apply is March 1. Read more here.
