  the school in Kafubu, Democratic Republic of the Congo, as they have completed construction. Today, adults who could not attend school as children are learning to read. In September, children from grades 1 - 8 will attend there, eliminating a 10 mile round trip walk into the next town for education.

ChurchElections Annual Church Elections
Annual church elections will take place Sunday, April 17th & 24th, and Wednesday, April 20th. Voting for Church Board, NMI Council, District Assembly Delegate and NMI Convention Delegate will take place in the Lewis Family Life Center between and after Sunday services and before and after Wednesday's service. All members at Hutchinson First Church of the Nazarene 15 years and older are encouraged to vote.
Starting Point Class
8 Week Class Begins Wednesday, April 20th
Starting Point is a class for people who have questions about God, have started a new relationship with Jesus, or are returning to church after some time away. The next 8 week Starting Point Class will begin Wednesday, April 20th at 6:30 pm in the Fireside Room. Space is limited to the first 12 who register. Cost for course materials is $20. Please check the designated box on the Connection Card in the worship folder if you are interested in participating or contact the church office.
ScreamFree Marriage Class
Begins April 20th
Wednesdays, 6:30 pm in Room 106
In ScreamFree Marriage couples learn how to embrace inevitable conflict as a profound vehicle for strengthening a marriage. Rather than just a source of pain and disagreement, these "Fires of Commitment," can actually be the exact experience needed to grow couples into new levels of maturity and intimacy. Dr. Mark Glover will be facilitating this 8 week class. To attend register here by Sunday, April 17th.

Children's Clothing Now Accepted
Our NMI Council is now accepting all seasons of Children's Clothing, sizes 5T - 16 for the next School Clothes Give Away. This clothing may be newly purchased or gently used and clean with no holes/tears or repairs needed. We are at this time only accepting shirts/tops or shorts/pants (please no undergarments, shoes or socks). You may leave your contributions in the Garden Foyer (by the West Entrance) or South Foyer at your convenience.

Open enrollment has begun for the 2016-17 Christ's Care Preschool school year. Openings are now available for all sessions.
star Monday/Wednesday/Friday Morning Sessions for 4/5 year olds meet from 9:00 am - 11:30 am. Cost is $100 per month. Non-refundable enrollment fee - $50 payable at registration.
star Tuesday/Thursday Morning Sessions for 3/4 year olds meet from 9:00 am - 11:30 am. Cost is $80 per month. Non-refundable enrollment fee - $50 payable at registration.

2016 Student Ministry Auction
Thanks to the hard work of our students and staff and especially the generous hearts of the HFN family, this year's auction was a huge success!  $30,000 was raised for our Middle and High School Student Ministry.  What an incredible blessing!!!  The Auction Break-down has now been completed and student accounts have been updated.  For a current balance, please email Joni Blosser.

Senior High Summer Camp
June 3-6, 2016
Cost: $200 per person
High School Camp is right around the corner!  The dates are Friday through Monday, June 3-6 at Camp Table Rock in Southwest Missouri. Students who are currently finishing 8th grade through those who will be graduating in May are eligible to go. The cost will be $200 per person and meal money will be needed for the to & from trips. Registration forms are now available in the East Foyer.
Dillon's Card Fundraiser
We've just begun a new calendar year and that means its time to login to your Dillon's Shoppers Card Account online and re-designate HFN as the beneficiary of your Community Rewards. 
To do this, go to www.dillons.com
login with your username and password, click the "community" tab near the top
select "Community Rewards." On the page that comes up, either use our "Organization Code" which is 10140, or simply type in "First Church of the Nazarene".  A list of organizations should appear, and choose the one with the address of "4290 N. Monroe". 
After you've done this, you're all set and you can know that for the remainder of 2016, a portion of what you spend at Dillon's on qualifying purchases will benefit HFN's Middle and High School Ministry!
