Easter Sunday Worship
This Sunday, March 27th
Resurrection Sunday Worship - celebrate with us the risen Christ! Morning worship will be 9:15 am (Contemporary service) and 10:45 am (Traditional service). Our Easter Sunday Celebration will be a morning filled with songs of worship, media presentations, drama and celebration. Pastor Kent will bring a message entitled Hope Rising! Unleashing the Power of the Resurrection in Your Life taken from John 20:19 and selected Scripture. We look forward to worshiping with you!

Good Friday Service
This Friday, March 25th
7:00 pm in the Sanctuary
On this day, the church commemorates Jesus' arrest, trial, crucifixion, suffering, death, and burial. During the Good Friday Service, music, scripture, and dramatic elements will walk us through and help us remember the pain, humiliation, and suffering Christ endured as he journeyed to the cross.

star We'll begin the fun at 1:00 pm this Saturday, March 26th in the Sanctuary with a telling of the Easter Story. Kids, be sure to bring a basket to gather eggs. All kids through 5th grade and their parents are invited. Bring your neighbors, friends and classmates! If you know of someone not attending a church, this is a great event to introduce them to HFN. We will have lots of eggs to hunt, and lots of prizes as well.

Parents...if you were not able to attend the Parent Meeting on March 20th, please make every effort to attend the next meeting on Sunday, April 3rd at 10:30 in the Theatre. We will be discussing the upcoming summer camps and activities, as well as a new schedule for Sunday School and Kids Church.

The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer is a remarkable study on every Christian's battle armor. In this 7 week Bible study you will understand and reap the full benefits of all the armor God has given for our defense against the attacks of the enemy. Believing Jesus: A Journey Through the Book of ACTS, by Lisa Harper, is an 8-session dvd study that retraces the steps

Jesus' Final Warning Hearing Christ's Voice
in the Midst of Chaos by Dr. David Jeremiah
In this study, Dr. Jeremiah approaches the topic of Jesus' last words about the future-not on the basis of sensationalism, but on the basis of the Word of God. Starting Point Class
8 Week Class Begins Wednesday, April 20th
Starting Point is a class for people who have questions about God, have started a new relationship with Jesus, or are returning to church after some time away. The next 8 week Starting Point Class will begin Wednesday, April 20th at 6:30 pm in the Fireside Room. Space is limited to the first 12 who register. Cost for course materials is $20. Please check the designated box on the Connection Card in the worship folder if you are interested in participating. For more information contact the church office.
SchoolClothesGiveAway Missions Ministry
Children's Clothing Now Accepted
Our NMI Council is now accepting all seasons of Children's Clothing, sizes 5T - 16 for the next School Clothes Give Away. This clothing may be newly purchased or gently used and clean with no holes/tears or repairs needed. We are at this time only accepting shirts/tops or shorts/pants (please no undergarments, shoes or socks). You may leave your contributions in the Garden Foyer (by the West Entrance) or South Foyer at your convenience.

On Easter Sunday, there will be no Middle or High School Sunday Morning Small Groups.

Senior High Summer Camp
June 3-6, 2016
Cost: $200 per person
High School Camp is right around the corner!  The dates are Friday through Monday, June 3-6 at Camp Table Rock in Southwest Missouri. Students who are currently finishing 8th grade through those who will be graduating in May are eligible to go. The cost will be $200 per person and meal money will be needed for the to & from trips. Registration forms are now available in the East Foyer.
Dillon's Card Fundraiser
We've just begun a new calendar year and that means its time to login to your Dillon's Shoppers Card Account online and re-designate HFN as the beneficiary of your Community Rewards. 
To do this, go to www.dillons.com
login with your username and password, click the "community" tab near the top
select "Community Rewards." On the page that comes up, either use our "Organization Code" which is 10140, or simply type in "First Church of the Nazarene".  A list of organizations should appear, and choose the one with the address of "4290 N. Monroe". 
After you've done this, you're all set and you can know that for the remainder of 2016, a portion of what you spend at Dillon's on qualifying purchases will benefit HFN's Middle and High School Ministry!

To All My Church Family, I cannot begin to tell you how much all your prayers and visits meant to me while I was in the hospital. Some, I had never met, but you came and cheered me up and prayed for me. I will never forget and I love you all for this. Hopefully, I will be back to church before long. God Bless You All!
