star Parent Meeting
This Coming Sunday, 
March 20th, 10:30 am
And April 3rd
There will be an identical meeting for all parents of children ages K-5th grade this coming Sunday morning, March 20th and again on Sunday, April 3rd at 10:30 in the Theatre. We will be discussing the upcoming summer camps and activities, as well as a new schedule for Sunday School and Kids Church. Parents, please make plans now to attend one of these meetings.
star Community Egg Hunt

STILL NEEDED: Lots of candy-filled plastic eggs are still needed for this year's Community Egg Hunt. Bags of plastic eggs are available for pickup at either Welcome Center. Please return all filled eggs by next Wednesday, March 23rd (no chocolate, please). Your help is greatly appreciated!
star We'll begin the fun at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 26th in the Sanctuary with a telling of the Easter Story. Kids, be sure to bring a basket to gather eggs.
star Save the date! This family event is for children through 5th grade and their parents. Plan now to join us - and bring your neighbors, friends and classmates! If you know of someone not attending a church, this is a great event to introduce them to HFN. We will have lots of eggs to hunt, and lots of prizes as well.

Senior Adult Ministry
Registration Deadline This Coming Monday,
March 21st
Stop by the Garden Foyer Welcome Center this coming Sunday to make your reservation for the upcoming District Senior Adult Banquet. This annual event will be held on Friday, April 8th, at Wichita Woodland Lakes Church of the Nazarene, 770 S Greenwich Road. Cost is $13 per person. Please RSVP here or at the Garden Foyer Welcome Center by next Monday, March 21st.
Special guest this year will be Brian Arner. Brian has emerged as one of the finest voices in inspirational Christian music. His dramatic solo interpretations thrill, inspire and move his listeners. His vocal quality is matched only by the depth and sincerity of his spirit and his genuine love for God, his family and those around him is evident in all that he does. Brian and his wife, Penni, and their two sons travel full-time in their music ministry.
Easter Celebration

On this day, the church commemorates Jesus' arrest, trial, crucifixion, suffering, death, and burial. During the Good Friday Service, music, scripture, and dramatic elements will walk us through and help us remember the pain, humiliation, and suffering Christ endured as he journeyed to the cross. Childcare will be provided for children birth through preschool age.

Join with us as we celebrate the greatest day in history! Morning worship will be 9:15 am (Contemporary service) and 10:45 am (Traditional service). Our Easter Sunday Celebration will be a morning filled with songs of worship, media presentations, drama and celebration. We look forward to worshiping with you!

The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer is a remarkable study on every Christian's battle armor. In this 7 week Bible study you will understand and reap the full benefits of all the armor God has given for our defense against the attacks of the enemy. Jesus' Final Warning Hearing Christ's Voice
in the Midst of Chaos by Dr. David Jeremiah
In this study, Dr. Jeremiah approaches the topic of Jesus' last words about the future-not on the basis of sensationalism, but on the basis of the Word of God. star Children's Clothing Now Accepted
Our NMI Council is now accepting all seasons of Children's Clothing, sizes 5T - 16 for the next School Clothes Give Away. This clothing may be newly purchased or gently used and clean with no holes/tears or repairs needed. We are at this time only accepting shirts/tops or shorts/pants (please no undergarments, shoes or socks). You may leave your contributions in the Garden Foyer (by the West Entrance) or South Foyer at your convenience.

2016 Student Auction
Thanks to the hard work of our students and staff and especially the generous hearts of the HFN family, this year's auction was a huge success!  This past Sunday, right at $30,000 was raised for our Middle and High School Student Ministry. What an incredible blessing!!! To one and all who donated their time, love, and money, thank you for letting God use you to bless others!

On Easter Sunday, there will be no Middle or High School Sunday Morning Small Groups.

Senior High Summer Camp
June 3-6, 2016
Cost: $200 per person
High School Camp is right around the corner!  The dates are Friday through Monday, June 3-6 at Camp Table Rock in Southwest Missouri. Students who are currently finishing 8th grade through those who will be graduating in May are eligible to go. The cost will be $200 per person and meal money will be needed for the to & from trips. Registration forms are now available in the East Foyer.
Dillon's Card Fundraiser
We've just begun a new calendar year and that means its time to login to your Dillon's Shoppers Card Account online and re-designate HFN as the beneficiary of your Community Rewards. 
To do this, go to www.dillons.com
 login with your username and password, click the "community" tab near the top
select "Community Rewards." On the page that comes up, either use our "Organization Code" which is 10140, or simply type in "First Church of the Nazarene".  A list of organizations should appear, and choose the one with the address of "4290 N. Monroe". 
After you've done this, you're all set and you can know that for the remainder of 2016, a portion of what you spend at Dillon's on qualifying purchases will benefit HFN's Middle and High School Ministry!

College Ministry: Tuesdays at 8:00 pm in Room 106 for all College and Young Adults, ages 18-25. If you are in this age group, or know of someone who is, you are invited and we look forward to having you join us Tuesdays at 8:00 pm in Room 106. For more information contact Pastor Josh Moore. 

Laundry Love would like to thank HFN for all of their support to this ministry which includes donations of quarters, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, bottled water, food, etc. plus the many wonderful volunteers who once a month come to serve and love people in the Name of Jesus. We were overwhelmed by the love and generosity of the offerings from Season of Light and the Christmas Offering! Thank you so much for your giving and your prayers as God continues to work through this ministry to reach out to those in need in our community! 

Dear friends, I am writing this note from a heart overflowing with love and gratitude for each one of you. Your love, concern, prayers, gifts, help and encouragement during these past months has sustained me.
