Tell THE Story Seminar
This Coming Sunday, January 17th

Tell THE Story is a great interactive tool that can enhance depth of understanding for both you and your listeners as you share scripture. Tell THE Story is for everyone - those who want to share the Bible with friends and neighbors, Children's Church/VBS/Sunday school teachers and helpers, Small Group leaders and pastors. The seminar will be led by Pastor Gary and Pam Worthington from Hutchinson New Life Church of the Nazarene. Join us in the Theatre at 6:00 pm. If you are interested in attending please rsvp here.

star Children's Clothing Now Accepted
Our NMI Council is now accepting all seasons of Children's Clothing, sizes 5T - 16 for the next School Clothes Give Away. This clothing may be newly purchased or gently used and clean with no holes/tears or repairs needed. We are at this time only accepting shirts/tops or shorts/pants (please no undergarments, shoes or socks). You may leave your contributions in the Garden Foyer (by the West Entrance) or South Foyer at your convenience.

Women's Ministry
IF Gathering February 5-6, 2016 
The IF Gathering is a 2 day event for women of all ages, cultures and denominations. Women from around the world will gather together in local groups to worship, pray, study Scripture and grow deeper in their relationship with God and others.
star The Local IF: Gathering will take place Friday and Saturday, February 5th & 6th at the Main Street Event Center, 2 N Main Street in Hutchinson.

Winter Retreat Information
star All participating students need to stop by Pastor Josh's office TONIGHT to pick up items for Winter Retreat.
star Students need to be at HFN no later than 7:00 pm Friday evening.
star Students should eat dinner before leaving for Winter Retreat. We will make a snack stop late Friday night on the way.
star Destination addresses as well as adult contact numbers will be supplied on the trip schedule.
star We will plan arriving back at HFN on Monday at approximately 6:00 pm. If that time changes parents will be notified.
Auction Fundraiser

Our 2016 Auction is quickly approaching!!! Students can turn in their collected donations now and the sooner the better as the Early Item Submission Bonuses will soon begin to expire! Auction Packets are still available in the East Foyer and there's still plenty of time to participate. Students who earned all four shares in this past year's auction earned around $500 to help pay for camp, mission trip, MAX, Xtreme, etc.

Dillon's Card Fundraiser
We've just begun a new calendar year and that means its time to login to your Dillon's Shoppers Card Account online and re-designate HFN as the beneficiary of your Community Rewards. 
To do this, go to www.dillons.com
login with your username and password, click the "community" tab near the top
select "Community Rewards." On the page that comes up, either use our "Organization Code" which is 10140, or simply type in "First Church of the Nazarene".  A list of organizations should appear, and choose the one with the address of "4290 N. Monroe". 
After you've done this, you're all set and you can know that for the remainder of 2016, a portion of what you spend at Dillon's on qualifying purchases will benefit HFN's Middle and High School Ministry!
MissionTrip
2016 Spring Break Mission Trip
Our Junior/Senior/College Spring Break Mission Trip dates for this year will be March 20-24. On Sunday, March 20th, we will leave Hutchinson early in the morning in route to Galveston, TX where we will volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and The Salvation Army during the day and enjoy some down-time together in the evenings. We will return to Hutchinson on Thursday. The cost of the trip will be $150 per person and will include everything except for spending money. All interested high school juniors and seniors and college students sign up at the East Entrance by Sunday, March 6th. For more information contact Pastor Josh.
High School Dinner & Movie  DinnerMovieNightWebSm
All High School students are encouraged to join us on Saturday, February 20th, for Dinner & a Movie. We will leave the church parking lot at 5:30 pm to go to dinner and then the movie afterward (around 7:00 pm). $20 per student will cover the cost of the meal and movie. Our restaurant and movie will be announced in the next couple of weeks. We'll return to the church by 9:30 pm.

Check the Lost & Found: Are you missing some items from home? Bibles, books, clothing, and dishes are some of the items that have currently found their way to the Lost and Found file cabinet located behind the South Entrance Welcome Center. All unclaimed items will be donated February 1st.

NTS Seminarian Offering: Each year the Seminarian Offering provides important financial support for Nazarene Theological Seminary. Your investment via the Seminarian Offering is an investment in the future of our congregations globally.  If you would like to support the students at NTS simply designate NTS Seminarian Offering on your check or giving envelope and drop it in the offering.
