Hope Family  Baskets Delivery This Evening at 6:30 pm
Join us in sharing Christ's love by greeting our HOPE families and helping them carry gift baskets to their vehicles this evening at 6:30 pm.
6:30 PM - Meet at Avenue A Elementary for set up and prayer
7:00 - 8:00 PM - Families will pick up baskets. Hot cocoa and cookies for everyone attending.
Christmas Offering
Thank you so much for participating in our Christmas Offering. We're honored that you would partner with us to lead people from where they are to where God wants them to be. You were a part of a historic day at Hutchinson First Church of the Nazarene! On Sunday, December 27th, we are going to announce the Christmas Offering totals. December Worship

Please call or email the church office with your Memorial Poinsettia information today to ensure that your memorial will be listed in the insert this coming Sunday morning. Cost is $10 per plant.

Join us for this special evening as the Nativity Story unfolds at a beautiful service of congregational Christmas carols and musical selections. Childcare will be provided for children through 3 years of age.

Brinar Family Welcome
First Sunday, January 3rd
Nate and Kristi Brinar and their three children, Payton (11) 5th grade, Logan (9) 4th grade, and Graycen (7) 1st grade, will be joining the HFN family on Sunday, January 3, 2016. Nate will be our new Sports Outreach Pastor and Kristi will be working with our Children's Ministry. Plan on being here for this Sunday of celebration as we welcome them to our family!
star Welcome Reception Between Morning Services: Everyone is invited to join us for a Welcome Reception for Nate & Kristi Brinar and their family between the morning services on Sunday, January 3rd in the Garden Foyer. A card basket will be available where you may leave greeting cards welcoming them to our church family. If you would like to include gift cards to restaurants and Dillon's, this will help stock their refrigerator and help them adjust to their new Kansas environment.
star Luncheon for Families With Children: All families with children birth through 5th grade are invited to join us for lunch on Sunday, January 3rd, immediately following the morning services in the Lewis Family Life Center. Families whose last names begin with A-L, please bring a salad or vegetable. Those whose last names begin with M-Z, please bring a dessert.
* The Brinar's will arrive in town on Wednesday, December 30th. If you can help us unload their furniture and belongings please call the church office with your phone number and we will text or call you when their belongings arrive.
UpwardSports Upward Ministry
Practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 in the Lewis Family Life Center and continue through the length of the season.
  Games begin Saturday, January 9, 2016 in the Lewis Family Life Center.
Volunteers: Many coaches, assistant coaches, referees and helpers are still needed. Please contact Jade Marcum to volunteer.
SchoolClothesGiveAway Missions Ministry
star Children's Clothing Now Accepted
Our NMI Council is now accepting all seasons of Children's Clothing, sizes 5T - 16 for the next School Clothes Give Away. This clothing may be newly purchased or gently used and clean with no holes/tears or repairs needed. We are at this time only accepting shirts/tops or shorts/pants (please no undergarments, shoes or socks). You may leave your contributions in the Garden Foyer (by the West Entrance) or South Foyer at your convenience.
star JESUS Film Harvest Partner Mission Trip Opportunities
Some highlights of the trip will be:
· Experiencing evangelism on the field.
· Inviting people to JESUS Film showings.
· Using the EvangeCube to share Jesus.
· Experiencing JESUS Film showings at night.
· Seeing first hand what God is doing through the JESUS Film.
· Attending local church services.
· Interacting with local Christian leaders.
· Sightseeing and shopping in beautiful countries.

star New Bible Studies Beginning in January
Thursday Evenings Beginning January 7th:The Joy of Encouragement 
by David Jeremiah will equip us to be become an encourager. And if you need a bit of encouragement, this study will help you to gain new strength. Tuesday Mornings Beginning January 12th:
Believing Jesus: A Journey Through the Book of ACTS, by Lisa Harper, is an 8-session dvd study that retraces the steps of the apostles in the book of Acts. Are you willing to risk everything, as the disciples did? Make plans now to participate in this challenging study. Sessions begin Tuesday, January 12th, at 9:00 am in the Fireside Room. Tuesday Evenings Beginning January 12th: The Armor of God, by Priscilla Schirer, is a 7-session dvd study. All day, every day, an invisible war rages aroung you. star IF Gathering February 5-6, 2016: The world round us feels like it is crumbling and almost nothing seems certain, until we look to Jesus and see that our Hope is very clear and certain. He didn't just give us salvation-Jesus is our salvation and the example of what it means to live in the fullness of grace and truth. This February 5-6, join this global gathering of women across denominations, generations, and cultures as we come together in the name of Jesus.

5th Annual Community Prayer & Praise Service Sunday, January 3rd at 7:00 pm at the Fox Theatre: You are invited to an evening of prayer and praise to God Almighty. Join this 5th annual celebration of the Hutchinson community's dependence of our Lord and Savior. We will lift our voices and our prayers for God's blessing on our community. Child care is provided.
