Hanging of the Greens

What a blessing can be yours working together to ready the church facility for the Christmas season! If you can help for just an hour or the day, either will be very appreciated. We'll bring decorations out of storage, fluff trees, test lights, and set up decorations throughout the building. A complimentary lunch will be served on Saturday for all present. If you plan to join us, please contact the Church OfficePlease be sure to indicate the number in your family that will be attending the lunch.

Hope Box Check Out  HopeProject
Begins This Coming Sunday, November 15th
Hope Student Boxes and Family Baskets will be available for check out at either foyer this coming Sunday, November 15th. This year 290 students from Lincoln Elementary School will be receiving Hope Boxes in a collaborative effort of Hutchinson First, New Life and Bethany Nazarene churches. Together we are making an impact in the lives of these students and their families by sharing Christ and giving a gift. Your participation would be such a blessing to one of these families!

All Upward Coaches are encouraged to attend the meeting scheduled for this coming Sunday, November 22nd at 4:00 pm in the Theatre. Please bring a snack to share.
star Deadline to Register Extended to This Sunday, November 15th 
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is for boys and girls, Kindergarten through 6th grade. Deadline to register for this year's season is Thursday, November 15th.
Practices start Tuesday, December 8th & Thursday, December 10th. Practices will be every Tuesday or Thursday for the length of the season.
Games begin Saturday, January 9, 2016 in the Lewis Family Life Center.
Volunteers can still participate in this season. Contact Jade Marcum to volunteer.

 Tiny Tots gives 3, 4, & 5 year olds (that are not in Kindergarten) the chance to begin to learn the basics of basketball. Cost of $25 includes a team t-shirt and end of year gift. No practices during the week. Games begin Saturday, January 9th. Parents are encouraged to participate! Download Tiny Tots Registration Form here.
We are excited to continue this exciting program for kids and look forward to implementing some new ideas. Your prayers and support for this ministry are greatly appreciated! 
PrimeTimers Holiday Dinner

McNew Road on Tuesday, November 17th, beginning at 6:00 pm. Those whose last name begins with A-L please bring a dessert, M-Z please bring a large salad or vegetable. star Local & International Ministry Offering Received
During the Season of Light performance you will have an opportunity to help us minister to the world around us. We will be receiving a voluntary offering during each performance where all funds received will go to one local and one international ministry. Locally, we will be
sponsoring Laundry Love, a ministry that consists of regular opportunities to help people who are struggling financially by assisting them with doing their laundry. Internationally, we will be sponsoring the Africa Water Wells Project, providing clean water for thousands of people where water is not currently available. Thank you for partnering with us in these important ministries!

star Children's Clothing Now Accepted
Our NMI Council is now accepting all seasons of Children's Clothing, sizes 5T - 16 for the next School Clothes Give Away. This clothing may be newly purchased or gently used and clean with no holes/tears or repairs needed. We are at this time only accepting shirts/tops or shorts/pants (please no undergarments, shoes or socks). You may leave your contributions in the Garden Foyer (by the West Entrance) or South Foyer at your convenience.
star JESUS Film Harvest Partner Mission Trip Opportunities
Some highlights of the trip will be:
· Experiencing evangelism on the field.
· Inviting people to JESUS Film showings.
· Using the EvangeCube to share Jesus.
· Experiencing JESUS Film showings at night.
· Seeing first hand what God is doing through the JESUS Film.
· Attending local church services.
· Interacting with local Christian leaders.
· Sightseeing and shopping in beautiful countries.

We are changing things up this week and combining our Middle School & High School Gatherings. We'll all gather for dinner in the Gym at 6:30 pm, and then we'll head up to the Youth Chapel where, in honor of Veterans Day, we'll watch the movie "Taking Chance". We'll wrap up our time together around 8:30 pm with a short devotional.

Sign up at the Check-in Station in the East Foyer. 20 spots are open for students, first come-first serve (secured by deposit).
Cost: Ski is $330, Board is $350, and to Spectate will be $225.  (cost is all-inclusive). Payments are due Sundays: November 1st, December 6th, & January 3rd.

Parents of 9th Graders Night Out

All parents of 9th graders are invited to meet at The Rib Crib to enjoy dinner together, and then head to Pastor Josh & Stacy Moore's home for coffee and fellowship time. Each couple/individual will be responsible for the cost of their own meal, however, dessert & coffee will be provided. Christmas Offering
During the Christmas season this year, our Student Ministry is going to be raising money to buy gifts for students that are in need in our community. There are a surprising number of homeless teenagers in our area, and we need to help them! In the coming weeks, we will be encouraging our students to bring money to donate. I will communicate more in terms of details in the weeks to come. Please begin encouraging and talking with your student(s) now on what they feel they can do to help!

Volunteers Needed
We are currently in need of a few parents or adults who would be willing to be a part of a rotation that monitors the gym during our High School Gatherings on Wednesday nights from 8:00 - 9:00 pm. We only need one person each week, and the only requirement is to be present and make sure our left over middle school students don't get out of control. If you are willing and available to help, please contact Pastor Josh Moore by email, text, or phone.

Auction Packets are available at the Check-In Desk in the East Foyer. Students who earned all four shares in this past year's auction earned around $500 to help pay for camp, mission trip, MAX, Xtreme, or other events.
