This Coming Sunday, November 1st

Anyone interested in helping with Upward Basketball or Cheerleading is encouraged to attend an Informational Meeting on Sunday, November 1st, at 4:00 pm in Room 309. Upward will continue to be a meaningful ministry to the church and community with everyone's involvement! 
Places you can serve include: coaches for basketball and cheerleading, referees, and concession stand servers.

Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is for boys and girls, Kindergarten through 6th grade. Deadline to register for this year's season is Thursday, November 5th.
Evaluations will take place on Tuesday, November 3rd & Thursday, November 5th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Basketball evaluations will take place in the Lewis Family Life Center. Cheerleading evaluations will take place in the Fireside Room.
Practices start Tuesday, December 8th & Thursday, December 10th. Practices will be every Tuesday or Thursday for the length of the season.
Games begin Saturday, January 9, 2016 in the Lewis Family Life Center.
Volunteers are needed for a number of areas. Former coaches, parents, and any interested persons are welcome to contact Jade Marcum to volunteer.

 Tiny Tots gives 3, 4, & 5 year olds (that are not in Kindergarten) the chance to begin to learn the basics of basketball. Cost of $25 includes a team t-shirt and end of year gift. No practices during the week. Games begin Saturday, January 9th. Parents are encouraged to participate! Download Tiny Tots Registration Form here.

Guest speakers Bill & Pam Mutz will be sharing some important truths to strengthen your marriage, no matter what age or stage you are in! Registration is still open through Friday, November 6th.

star Guest Speakers Bill & Pam Mutz: Bill is the President of Lakeland Automall in Lakeland, Florida. He has been involved with the ministries of FamilyLife and Promise Keepers. Bill and Pam serve in their local church and various community boards. Pam graduated as a physical education major, mentors and teaches women's Bible studies, and is a commissioned Centurion through Prison Fellowship. Bill and Pam are the parents of 12 children and 16 grandchildren.

Lots of help is needed to bring decorations out of storage, fluff trees, test lights, set up decorations and get our facility ready for the Christmas season! A complimentary lunch will be served on Saturday for all present. If you plan to join us, please sign a Discovery Card and drop it in the offering plate on Sunday, or call the Church Office at 662.1283. Please be sure to indicate the number in your family that will be attending the lunch.

SchoolClothesGiveAway Missions Ministry
star Children's Clothing Now Accepted
Our NMI Council is now accepting all seasons of Children's Clothing, sizes 5T - 16 for the next School Clothes Give Away. This clothing may be newly purchased or gently used and clean with no holes/tears or repairs needed. We are at this time only accepting shirts/tops or shorts/pants (please no undergarments, shoes or socks). Designated containers are available in the Garden Foyer (by the West Entrance) and South Foyer.
star JESUS Film Harvest Partner Mission Trip Opportunities
Some highlights of the trip will be:
· Experiencing evangelism on the field.
· Inviting people to JESUS Film showings.
· Using the EvangeCube to share Jesus.
· Experiencing JESUS Film showings at night.
· Seeing first hand what God is doing through the JESUS Film.
· Attending local church services.
· Interacting with local Christian leaders.
· Sightseeing and shopping in beautiful countries.

Guys Shooting Outing 
This Coming Sunday, November 1st
Interested dads and sons...make plans now to join us at a private shooting range in Pretty Prairie to shoot clays. Bring your own gun(s) and ammo. If there are students interested in going but don't have their own gun, they can bring $15 to help cover the cost of extra ammo. We'll meet at 2 pm, shoot until 5 or so, and then have a bonfire and roast hot dogs. Folks who are interested can sign-up at the check-in counter in the East Foyer. For more information, please contact Pastor Josh.

All Middle School and High School parents are encouraged to attend an Informational Parent Meeting on Wednesday, November 4th from 7:30 - 8:00 pm in the Upstairs Chapel. We are currently in need of a few parents or adults who would be willing to be a part of a rotation that monitors the gym during our High School Gatherings on Wednesday nights from 8:00 - 9:00 pm. We only need one person each week, and the only requirement is to be present and make sure our left over middle school students don't get out of control. Sign up now for Winter Retreat! On the weekend preceding the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, we will be heading to Granby, CO to ski/board for a couple of days. 
Sign up at the Check-in Station in the East Foyer. 20 spots are open for students, first come-first serve (secured by deposit).
Cost: Ski is $330, Board is $350, and to Spectate will be $225.  (cost is all-inclusive). Payments are due Sundays: November 1st, December 6th, & January 3rd.
