The baskets will be located at each Welcome Center through the remainder of October where you may leave your letters, cards and tokens of appreciation. This is a perfect time to show your gratitude for our pastors and their families.

Sunday, October 25th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Parents...bring your children, nieces, nephews, and neighbors. Fun from beginning to end - 6:00 until 8:00 pm - this coming Sunday, October 25th, around the north and east areas of the building for kids through 6th grade and their familiy. There will be games, inflatables, fire pits to make s'mores, and LOTS of candy!  We will also have a $1 hot dog meal for you and the family. Parking will be available on the northwest area of the parking lot.

Great things are on the way at HFN! This coming Sunday Pastor Kent will be talking about some changes that will prepare HFN's Children's Ministry for growth. There will be an Informational Meeting the next two Wednesday nights (October 21 and 28) in the Theatre from 7:00 -7:30. The meetings will be the same so join us at whichever time works best for you.

Anyone interested in helping with Upward Basketball or Cheerleading is encouraged to attend an Informational Meeting on Sunday, November 1st, at 4:00 pm in Room 309. Upward will continue to be a meaningful ministry to the church and community with your involvement! 
Places you can serve include: coaches for basketball and cheerleading, referees, and concession stand servers.

Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is for boys and girls, Kindergarten through 6th grade. Deadline to register for this year's season is Thursday, November 5th.
Evaluations will take place on Tuesday, November 3rd & Thursday, November 5th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Basketball evaluations will take place in the Lewis Family Life Center. Cheerleading evaluations will take place in the Fireside Room.
Practices start Tuesday, December 8th & Thursday, December 10th. Practices will be every Tuesday or Thursday for the length of the season.
Games begin Saturday, January 9, 2016 in the Lewis Family Life Center.
Volunteers are needed for a number of areas. Former coaches, parents, and any interested persons are welcome to contact Jade Marcum to volunteer.

 Tiny Tots gives 3, 4, & 5 year olds (that are not in Kindergarten) the chance to begin to learn the basics of basketball. Cost of $25 includes a team t-shirt and end of year gift. No practices during the week. Games begin Saturday, January 9th. Parents are encouraged to participate! Download Tiny Tots Registration Form here.

Bill and Pam are the parents of 12 children and 16 grandchildren.

Our NMI Council is now accepting all seasons of Children's Clothing, sizes 5T - 16 for the next School Clothes Give Away. This clothing may be newly purchased or gently used and clean with no holes/tears or repairs needed. We are at this time only accepting shirts/tops or shorts/pants (please no undergarments, shoes or socks). Designated containers are available in the Garden Foyer (by the West Entrance) and South Foyer.

Some highlights of the trip will be:
· Experiencing evangelism on the field.
· Inviting people to JESUS Film showings.

Registration cards for Lock In are available at the check-in table in the East Foyer. Cost per student is $40. Students planning to pay with their account can simply note that on the card. Those paying with cash or check need to submit their payment along with their Registration Card. 
Meet at HFN at 7:30 pm Friday, November 6th.
Return to HFN at 6:30 am Saturday, November 7th.
Bring extra money as we will stop at Kwik Shop on our way to Wichita and one between events in the middle of the night.
HFN Release Form must be on file before leaving for Lock-In.
 The sign-up deadline is Friday, October 23rd.

We are currently in need of a few parents or adults who would be willing to be a part of a rotation that monitors the gym during our High School Gatherings on Wednesday nights from 8:00 - 9:00 pm. We only need one person each week, and the only requirement is to be present and make sure our left over middle school students don't get out of control. Guys Shooting Outing 
Sunday, November 1st
Interested dads and sons...make plans now to join us at a private shooting range in Pretty Prairie to shoot clays. Bring your own gun(s) and ammo. If there are students interested in going but don't have their own gun, they can bring $15 to help cover the cost of extra ammo. We'll meet at 2 pm, shoot until 5 or so, and then have a bonfire and roast hot dogs. Folks who are interested can sign-up at the check-in counter in the East Foyer. For more information, please contact Pastor Josh.

Sign up now for Winter Retreat! On the weekend preceding the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, we will be heading to Granby, CO to ski/board for a couple of days. 
Sign up at the Check-in Station in the East Foyer. 20 spots are open for students, first come-first serve (secured by deposit).
Cost: Ski is $330, Board is $350, and to Spectate will be $225.  (cost is all-inclusive). Payments are due Sundays: November 1st, December 6th, & January 3rd.
