Laundry Love
First Tuesday of Each Month
star Our First Laundry Love Evening: God really provided every need and we met some amazing people. It's exciting to know that people in the community are hearing about this and that there is response from those in need already. We were thanked multiple times and were told how it was such a blessing that we were doing this. I am truly amazed at how God has gone before us in this mission and the overwhelming love from people in the church and community. It was a great first month of LL and I feel like a great deal was learned of what else we can use and do for others next time. We were able to help with 18 loads of laundry plus dryers.
Heather Ramos & Emily Wray
star Your contributions of quarters, liquid laundry detergent and dryer sheets will go a long way in extending the love of Christ to those in need. We are working in cooperation with the owners of Giant Laundry, 430 N Adams, to offer supplies for up to 5 free loads of laundry per family to anyone who might come to the laundromat from 7:00 - 9:00 pm on the first Tuesday evening of each month.
star You may bring your quarters to the Garden Foyer Welcome Center on Sundays or to the church office anytime during the week. Liquid laundry detergent/dryer sheets may be left in the laundry basket in the Garden Foyer. Contributions can also be brought to Giant Laundry, 430 N Adams St, or Wray & Sons Roofing Main Office, 229 E 3rd.

News You Can Use

You are invited to a Come and Go Bridal Shower for Mandy Zeka and Adam Ramos this Saturday, August 8th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm in the Fireside Room. The New Creation Candle is a representation of those who have recently accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior! Your HFN Family would like to celebrate and rejoice with those who have come to know Christ. As you pray and are used to help lead someone as they receive Christ, please contact the pastoral staff or Church Office so we can light the candle in their honor on Sunday.

Are You CPR or AED Certified? We would like to update the list of those in our congregation that are trained in CPR and AED use with our Automatic External Defibrillator so they may be called upon during an emergency. If you are trained and are willing to have your name posted with our AED unit, please contact the church office. The AED is stored in the Usher's Closet in the corridor of the Sanctuary.
