This Thursday - Saturday, July 9th - 11th
Students attending the ACTS Preteen Trip will leave from the church this Thursday morning. Students and their parents are invited to help work on community projects in the Kansas City area, tour MNU and have a day of fun and relaxation after all our hard work is complete.

star Join us for a great time of celebration and vision casting at our Annual District Assembly held at Wichita First Church of the Nazarene, 1400 E. Kellogg, in Wichita.
star Opening Service Sunday, July 12th will begin with a Praise Service at 6:30 pm led by our Hispanic congregations, followed by worship with Pastor Ryan Gage and Pastor Jim Bond's first district report. This year's theme will be "The Harvest Is Ripe!"

Transportation to Sunday Night's Service will be available and will depart from the church parking lot at 5:00 pm. If you are interested in riding the church van please contact Ramona Shepherd at 663.6003.

12:00 pm - NMI Luncheon by reservation only by July 1st. The district will be honoring Ron and Sara Willard for their years of service on the Kansas District during the luncheon on Monday. A love offering will be taken during the NMI Convention to help them as they serve as Area Coordinators in Swaziland, Africa for the next year.

Middle School Summer Camp

Wheat State Camp in Augusta, KS
Deadline to register for this year's Middle School Summer Camp is next Wednesday, July 15th. Stop by the Chapel upstairs and pick up your form, or download a form here. All students who have finished the 6th grade through those who have completed the 8th grade are invited to attend. Cost is $140 per person.

Friday - Monday, August 7-10 
My Father's House Ministry in Paola, Kansas will be the destination for our Summer Mission Trip. All 9th - 12th grade students are invited to participate. We'll leave Friday morning, August 7th, and return Monday evening, August 10th. Mission projects will take place Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon. On Monday we will spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park in Kansas City before returning home. Estimated cost per student: $125. Sign up in Upstairs Chapel. While we are serving with My Father's House Ministry we will be sleeping in tents. If you have a tent that sleeps 4 or more people that you would be willing to allow our Student Ministry to use, we would love to borrow it. Please contact Pastor Josh for more information.

Congratulations to Dylan and Emily Wray on the birth of their firstborn, Brogan Clifford, born on Monday, June 29th at 9:17 am. Brogan weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces and was 21 inches long at birth. Congratulations to grandparents, Cliff and Jan Wray, and to the many extended family members.

Are You CPR or AED Certified? We would like to update the list of those in our congregation that are trained in CPR and AED use with our Automatic External Defibrillator so they may be called upon during an emergency. If you are trained and are willing to have your name posted with our AED unit, please contact the church office. The AED is stored in the Usher's Closet in the corridor of the Sanctuary.
