Sunday July 5th
This coming Sunday Pastor Kent will bring a thoughtful message responding to our times. A special patriotic moment will be highlighted during the 9:15 service. The Festival Choir and Orchestra will share special music during the 10:45 am service as we celebrate our great nation through familiar patriotic tunes and tribute songs. Join us for worship this Sunday! Preteen A.C.T.S. Trip
Thursday - Saturday, July 9th - 11th
5th & 6th grade students don't want to miss this year's Preteen Mission Trip to Kansas City, July 9th - 11th. Students and their parents are invited to help work on community projects in the Kansas City area, tour MNU and have a day of fun and relaxation after all our hard work is complete. Make plans now to join us for special guests Voices of Praise from MidAmerica Nazarene University on Sunday, July 12th. Voices of Praise consist of 8 vocalists who will also be sharing during the general sessions at the Kansas District Assembly, July 12th - 14th.

star Join us for a great time of celebration and vision casting at our Annual District Assembly held at Wichita First Church of the Nazarene, 1400 E. Kellogg, in Wichita.
star Opening Service Sunday, July 12th will begin with a Praise Service at 6:30 pm led by our Hispanic congregations, followed by worship with Pastor Ryan Gage and Pastor Jim Bond's first district report. This year's theme will be "Casting Our Nets!"

12:00 pm - NMI Luncheon by reservation only by July 1st. The district will be honoring Ron and Sara Willard for their years of service on the Kansas District during the luncheon on Monday. A love offering will be taken during the NMI Convention to help them as they serve as Area Coordinators in Swaziland, Africa for the next year.

Christ's Care Preschool Open Enrollment

Open enrollment has begun for the 2015-16 Christ's Care Preschool school year. Openings are now available for all sessions.
star Monday/Wednesday/Friday Morning Sessions for 4/5 year olds meet from 9:00 am - 11:30 am. Cost is $100 per month. Non-refundable enrollment fee - $50 payable at registration.
star Tuesday/Thursday Morning Sessions for 3/4 year olds meet from 9:00 am - 11:30 am. Cost is $80 per month. Non-refundable enrollment fee - $50 payable at registration.

Thursday Activity
Thursday, July 2nd: We'll gather at HFN at 2 pm to head to the ball park at 17th and Monroe to play Kick Ball & Ultimate Frisbee. After we're done playing, we'll head over to the Dairy Queen on Main Street for a sweet treat, so please send some $$$ with your student. Students can be picked up at 5 pm at HFN.

There will be no Mid-week Gathering on Wednesday, July 8th nor any Thursday Activity on July 9th due to NYC.
Middle School Summer Camp

Wheat State Camp in Augusta, KS
Forms are available now in the chapel, or you can download a form here. All students who have finished the 6th grade through those who have completed the 8th grade are invited to attend. Cost is $140 per person and forms are due by Wednesday, July 15th.
Mission Trip  MissionTrip
Sign Up Now Available in Chapel
Friday - Monday, August 7-10 
A sign-up sheet for the Student Mission Trip is now available upstairs in the Chapel. We'll leave Friday morning, August 7th, and return Monday evening, August 10th. We will participate in mission projects Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon and on Monday spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park in Kansas City before returning home. Estimated cost per student: $125. (Unfortunately, incoming 7th graders will not permitted to participate in the Summer Mission Trip).
Tents Needed 
Our Summer Student Mission Trip will be serving with My Father's House Ministry in Paola, KS, 45 minutes south of Kansas City. While there we will be sleeping in tents. If you have a tent that sleeps 4 or more people that you would be willing to allow our Student Ministry to use, we would love to borrow it. Please contact Pastor Josh for more information.

If you would like to donate toward the $220 expense of shipping the Crisis Care Kits to the warehouse, please mark your check or giving envelope "Crisis Care Kits Shipping" and drop it in the offering plate or send to the church office by Sunday, July 5th.

Are You CPR or AED Certified? We would like to update the list of those in our congregation that are trained in CPR and AED use with our Automatic External Defibrillator so they may be called upon during an emergency. If you are trained and are willing to have your name posted with our AED unit, please contact the church office. The AED is stored in the Usher's Closet in the corridor of the Sanctuary.
