Senior High Summer Camp
Registration Deadline TODAY
Camp Table Rock in Southwest Missouri is the site of our fantastic High School Summer Camp. Eligible students are those who have completed 8th - 12th grades. Cost will be $200 per person plus meal money for transportation to & from camp.
star Registration forms are due TODAY and MUST be notarized. We will have a notary present tonight at 6:30 in Pastor Josh's office to notarize forms at no charge ...or... you can get them notarized elsewhere at your own convenience.
star All participating students are encouraged to partake in some form of a Media Fast beginning Friday, May 22nd. The Camp Registration form calls for a total media fast and interested students are invited to participate. However, all camp-bound students are invited to give up some form of media as a means of preparing to experience and hear from God at camp. The idea behind the fast is that we often get the most from the things that we have the most invested in. Parents, please encourage your student to participate in the fast.
Summer Schedule
star Our last 2014-15 Mid-Week Gathering and meal will be tonight. Join us for supper in the Lewis Family Life Center before we head upstairs. Meals will begin again in the fall.
star Beginning Next Wednesday, May 27th: Our summer schedule will begin next Wednesday. Please note that the new wrap up time for our Mid-Week Gatherings will be 8:00 pm. The details of the summer schedule will include our Thursday Afternoon Summer Activities, as well as the dates we won't have Mid-Week Gatherings due to NYC or Summer Camp.
Mission Offering Received Tonight
Our 2015 KNYI Mission Project is to raise $2,000 for a motorcycle for our Nazarene Missionaries in Nepal. A few weeks ago, our students were challenged to begin participating in the Biblical practice of tithing. This project would be a great way for students to share some of their own (not mom & dad's) wealth with God and others. We will take up an offering this Wednesday, May 20th.
Hand Towels Needed
One of the things HFN regularly participates in is assembling and sharing of Crisis Care Kits. One of the biggest needs we currently have in terms of supplies, is hand towels. During the remainder of May and the month of June, we are going to be collecting hand towels for CCKs. All donations may be brought to the tub in the Youth Chapel Upstairs.
