Initial Informational Luncheon Meeting

A new Marriage & Family Council will soon be developed to help give direction to HFN Marriage & Family Ministry. The purpose of the council would be to help with one-on-one marriage mentoring, marriage seminars, and working with couples as teachers. Age 5 - completed 6th grade
Children will have a great time learning the books of the Bible, the Ten Commandments, and how to be saved by grace through faith...and that's all just in the first few minutes of singing each day! Each VBS session clearly presents the gospel of Jesus Christ while having as much fun as possible.
Lots of helpers are needed to lead student groups. Won't you consider being a part of this year's VBS? Contact Janice at 899-0188 for more information.

Crisis Care Kits Now Being Collected
Items for Crisis Care Kits may be brought to the designated location in either foyer area. Each kit should contain only the following items:
Shampoo (12 to 18 oz.), Bar Soap (Bath size or larger), Toothpaste (4.0 to 6.4 oz.), Toothbrushes (in original package), Band-Aids (30+), Fingernail clippers, Sturdy hair combs, Hand towels, Pocket-sized packages of tissues.

Christ's Care Preschool Open Enrollment

Open enrollment has begun for the 2015-16 Christ's Care Preschool school year. Openings are now available for all sessions.

Senior Pastoral Vote  
Believing it is the Lord's leading, we have received word that Pastor Kent would like to proceed in the search process as our next Senior Pastor. A vote has been scheduled for Sunday morning May 3rd in the Lewis Family Life Center. All church members age 15 or older are eligible and encouraged to vote.

HFN Youth Membership Class
Session 2 of our Youth Membership Class will take place this coming Sunday, April 26th in the Youth Chapel from 11:00-Noon. Students who missed Session 1 this past Sunday will need to wait until the next Membership Class is offered.
Graduation Sunday
Sunday, May 17th
If you, or a student you know, are graduating from high school, or college this spring, please let the church office know. We will be recognizing our high school grads during both services on Sunday, May 17th. There will also be an insert in that morning's worship folder that will list all of our graduates. Information sheets are available online at www.hutchfirstnaz.org or stop by the Welcome Center in either foyer area to pick one up. star Students leaving for MAX on Thursday need to be at the church by 9:45 am. We will return by 5:00 pm on Saturday.

star Nazarene Night at Worlds of Fun Friday, April 24th:
Cost: $65 and includes 1 night hotel stay & breakfast at the hotel on Saturday morning. The van will leave at 2:30 pm on Friday and return around noon on Saturday.
star Extra money will be needed for travelling to and from MAX, for dinner on Friday, & for snacks.
Fundraising Opportunities
There are two Fundraising Opportunities available immediately. This work will need parent/adult supervision and is first being offered to NYC -bound students. If you/your student is interested, please contact Pastor Josh as soon as possible. These opportunities will be made available for our entire group within the next week or so.

Senior High Summer Camp
Friday - Monday, June 5th - 8th
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, May 20th
Camp Table Rock in Southwest Missouri is the site of our fantastic High School Summer Camp. Eligible students are those who have completed 8th - 12th grades. Cost will be $200 per person plus meal money for transportation to & from camp. Registration forms are now available at the back of the Youth Chapel.
First Quarter Dillon's Payment
We have received our Dillon's Community Rewards check from the first quarter of 2015. If you have registered your card and are participating in the program and want your student to get credit for your spending, you need to login to your Dillon's online account, print off the page that shows what you contributed to your chosen charity last quarter and bring in/send us the information so we can credit your student's account.

Are You CPR or AED Certified? We would like to update the list of those in our congregation that are trained in CPR and AED use with our Automatic External Defibrillator so they may be called upon during an emergency. If you are trained and are willing to have your name posted with our AED unit, please contact the church office. The AED is stored in the Usher's Closet in the corridor of the Sanctuary.

Church League Softball: Spring is just around the corner and church league softball is getting geared up for a fun season. There will be teams for men, women and kids of all ages. If you are interested in playing or coaching softball please contact Roy McFarland at 662.7855. Games will begin in mid-May.

Nazarene Bible College Annual Offering: If you would like to contribute toward the work of Nazarene Bible College please designate NBC on your check or giving envelope and drop it in the offering. Every dollar helps fulfill their purpose to glorify Jesus Christ as Lord by preparing adults to evangelize, disciple, and minister to the world.
