One part of our ministry is to present free webinars each month. The topics of these webinars vary but the purpose is always the same: equipping and empowering parents, especially those who are raising a special needs child or complex child with challenges.
These are some of the real-life struggles described by the parents who register for these webinars:
...My sons are 11 and 5 and the holiday season is extremely challenging for us - anything out of our normal routine is tough for them to deal with
...Silly defiance is the best way to describe our Deaf son. No first time obedience, no fear of consequences, no remorse, HIGH energy
...Distractions, anxiety, low self-esteem, not following instructions...
...Arguing, refusing to obey, anger outbursts
...Distracted attention, fidgety, difficulty with reading comprehension, exhausted from school
This is what parents tell us after attending our webinars.
... I am praying *RIGHT NOW* that lots of husbands and wives, in unity, sign up for your full program. You guys are such a tremendous blessing to others.
... I am not sure if this is the best place to say this but I really want to meet you and talk. I would LOVE to be involved in this ministry with you. I have been advising moms and kids in the homeschool community for several years, have 3 out of 4 kids that struggle in different ways and we have done many things to help them through it.
...You guys ROCK. Just hope you know!
Everyday is a struggle for these families. They have to deal with the normal daily challenges of raising children and in addition the special challenges their children bring to the table.
These are parents who really care about their children and want to see them be the best they can be. We strive to give them practical child development, biblical parenting, and nutrition strategies.
Church ministry workers also attend our webinars. They are looking to help:
...church school teachers and other church leaders deal effectively with "difficult children"
...children with various special needs in my Sunday School program
On behalf of these parents and ministry workers, we thank you for partnering with us to bring them hope and help.
