Welcome to our Celebrate Uni Alumni publication. We love to receive updates from our alumni about their latest achievements and accolades. Please enjoy these highlights showing that Uni's benefits don't stop on Graduation day - out students continue to shine long after they leave.
If you would like to share your accomplishments, awards, successes and stories with us for future editions of Celebrate Uni Alumni, please send them to Advancement Director Marianne Downey.
Rachel Harmon named Rhodes Scholar
Uni alum Rachel Harmon ('10) was one of only 32 people named as this year's Rhodes Scholars, and she was the only one from Illinois. Rhodes Scholarships are the oldest international fellowship. Fellowships are awarded based on the applicants' outstanding scholarship, character, commitment to others and to the common good, and potential for leadership.
We are so proud that a Uni grad received this great honor. Rachel is a role model for Uni students, and an example of what they can achieve.
