Venture capital dollars invested in the second quarter year-to-date totaled $138 million in the Pittsburgh region, a year-over-year increase of $90 million. While total investments are up, the number of companies funded by venture capital dollars in the 2nd quarter year-to-date has decreased year-over-year by 17, bringing the total to 30 companies.
