May Unemployment Rate Declines

Greater Pittsburgh's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 5.5 percent in May 2014 -- 1.4 percentage points lower than the May 2013 rate -- giving the region the fifth smallest unemployment rate of all benchmark peers. To find out more about how Pittsburgh compares against other regions, click here.
