Pittsburgh's job growth continues to lag
Dear Friend,

Preliminary numbers show that Pittsburgh's job growth has risen at a very slow rate over the past year.  Job growth from March 2012 to March 2013 was just .2 percent -- significantly below the the benchmark average of 1.0 percent over the same period.  To view which industry sectors grew or lost jobs, please click here.

Pittsburgh's hospitality industry continued to command relatively high rates in the first quarter of 2013, ranking third in revenue per room and second in average daily rate.

Thanks for your interest,
