Historic report on Pittsburgh's young adults |
Dear Friend,
We think you'll be interested in our new report which dispels the long-in-the-tooth myth that young adults are leaving Pittsburgh. Young Adults Report 2012 is PittsburghTODAY's special report about the growing young adult population in the region. We think you'll find this report fascinating and encouraging. Not only is the region attracting young adults, but they're among the most educated in the nation -- and that bodes well for Pittsburgh's future.
This report draws the most comprehensive profile to date of the region's young adults, and It is based on PittsburghTODAY's reporting, as well as an extensive regional survey and focus groups conducted jointly by PittsburghTODAY and its colleagues at the University of Pittsburgh Center for Social and Urban Research (UCSUR).

To coincide with the release of the Young Adults Report 2012, on Tuesday PittsburghTODAY hosted a panel of community leaders for a conversation about how Pittsburgh can continue to build a region that attracts and retains young adults, 'The Truth About Young Adults in Pittsburgh.'
