Promoting and showcasing the Pre-Green horse throughout the southwest via a series of stakes paying a minimum of $2500.00 in prize money plus $75.00 per horse added back.

 Pre-Green contestants will have the opportunity to compete for fine Catena USA watches during the Texas Pre-Green Final Championship.

Hunter and Jumper News! 
Alex Ansteth and Oh Son, Baby Green Champions in CO
The Hunter and Jumper team had a successful trip to Parker, CO earlier this year for the Colorado Summer Circuit. 
 
Congratulations to Baby Green Champions Alex Ansteth and Oh Son, owned by Jill & Scott Yates! 
 
Bernadette Mulliken and her horse, Rafa 10, were also successful in Colorado, 1st place in the $1500 M&S Adult Jumper Classic! 
 
Carlee McCutcheon and Sally won ribbons in all short stirrup classes at their first show in the short stirrup division as well!
 
The Hunters and Jumpers also enjoyed nice weather at the Kentucky Summer Horse Shows this July and August. We were joined by Bernadette Mulliken, Lorraine Wade, Hillcrest Farm and Louise Serio. 
 
The team is now gearing up for the Fall Fun Horse Show, held in Tyler, TX October 9-13.

Reining News! 

The Reining team had a wonderful time showing and visiting with friends at The Scottsdale Classic in Scottsdale, AZ, held September 26 - October 3. 

Sam and Romeo For Juliet, owned by Stephanie Gregoire

A Big Congratulations to Sam Schaffhauser and Romeo For Juliet (Gunner x Beetle Bug Jaci), owned by Stephanie Gregoire, Champions in the Int and Ltd Open Futurity, earning over $3,800! Congratulations also to Sam and Two Gun Shiner (Gunner x Shiney Missy), owned by Lyle Lovett, tied for Reserve Champion in the Int and Ltd Open Futurities, as well as taking 6th place in the L4, earning nearly $6,700.

 

 

Scottsdale brought more success for Hollywoodstinseltown's offspring. Tim McQuay and Chex From Tinseltown (Hollywoodstinseltown x Lenas Ruby Chex), owned by Dave Silva, added over $3,000 to Hollywoodstinseltown's produce record in the Scottsdale Classic Open Futurity.  

 

 

Congratulations also to Mandy McCutcheon and Dun It Dually (Mister Nicadual x Indy Star Dun It), owned by McQuay Stables, tied for 6th in the Non Pro L4 Futurity and boosting Mister Nicadual's offspring earnings by over $800.

Tulsa

The recent Ariat Tulsa Reining Classic, held in Tulsa, Oklahoma August 24 - September 2, celebrated a record number of entries in 2012. The Spooks Gotta Whiz Developing Horse Futurity kicked off the ATRC with Tim and Nuthin But Hollywood, owned by Dave Silva, besting a field of over 80 entries and earning over $3,700. Nuthin But Hollywood is by Hollywoodstinseltown and out of Nuthin Chic, and is one of Hollywoodstinseltown's first foals to enter the show pen!

Earlier this year, Tim, Tom McCutcheon and Lyle Lovett participated in mini-demonstrations and performances at AmerEquine, Festival of the Horse. Many thanks to Lyle for coming to help Tim and Tom. We enojoyed the opportunity to show the public what Reining is all about. It was lots of fun spending time with our great sponsors, SmartPak and

GUNNER HITS FOUR MILLION!
The National Reining Horse Association has a new addition to the elite group of Four Million Dollar Sires: Gunner. Now fourth on the list of lifetime leading sires, Gunner is only led by legends Topsail Whiz, Hollywood Dun It, and Smart Chic Olena. The Hall of Fame inductee, Gunner (AQHA Colonels Smoking Gun, APHA Colonels Smokingun) has soared from NRHA Three to Four Million Dollar Sire status in less than a year due to the overwhelming success of his progeny. With approximately 300 offspring currently showing, averaging $12,719 each, Gunner's official offspring NRHA Lifetime Earnings are $4,019,343 as of September 12, 2012.
