Reiner Sales
We have a great 2 yr old bay filly by Starlights Wrangler and out of Boomernic Bewitched for sale. She has been nicely started, lopes around really nice and has an eagerness to stop. She is also pretty quiet and very easy to handle.

futuritynewsReining News!

The Reiners recently returned from Katy, TX and had a great time at the National Reining Breeders Classic, held at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center. Good times were had with friends and family during our stay at the horse show! Special thanks to Sean Brown, Pauline "Cookie" Cook, and the Great Southwest Equestrian Center for once again making the NRBC such a special event! Also thank you to Mike Christian and his team, including Colleen's nephew Chad Vanderlinde (who comes to help us each year after completing several months of the Wellington Horse Shows), and Cheryl Cody with the ProManagement team; along with our great team of officials, this group produces a show like no other!

Friday afternoon proved to be a huge success for Mandy McCutcheon and McQuay Stables, as the Non Pro Finals took place. A big Congratulations to our Non Pro Classic Champions, Mandy McCutcheon and Always Gotyer Gunsup (Gunner x Always A Dunit), owned by McQuay Stables! Mandy and "Polly" slid to the top scoring a remarkable 231, pushing Mandy to her fifth NRBC title.

Mandy also took home the Reserve Championship with Shiney Enterprise (Smart And Shiney x My Royal Enterprise), owned by McQuay Stables! She marked a 227.5 on "Madonna", and says, "I was really proud of both of them. From the time I ran through the gate they put their heads down and went to work."

All in all, Mandy earned over $70,000, a saddle from Pard's Western Shop, two Gist Silversmiths buckles, a pair of Rios of Mercedes boots, a Catena Watch from Catena USA, a custom embroidered jacket from Just Stitch It, product from M3 Products, Santa Cruz Animal Health, SmartPak Smart Omega 3, as well as the signature blue crystal trophy and other NRBC memorabilia. Since Mandy selected the Men's Catena Watch for her dad, Tim gives special thanks to Bill Kraft of Catena USA.

Congratulations to our other Non Pro Classic Finalists, Lyle Lovett and Mistress With A Gun (Gunner x Shiners Mistress), tied for twelfth and owned by Lyle, and to Lexie Stovel and Last Pop Star (Smart Starbuck x Mm Jiffy Pop), owned by Lexie! We're glad our Non Pros had a great time horse showing! Thank you so much to Jerry Kimmel for sponsoring the Dun Gotta Gun & Mister Nicadual USEF Reception Friday evening! We had a great time!

Saturday marked the start of the Open Classic Finals. Congratulations to our finalists, Tim and Show Your Guns (Gunner x Good Time Showgirl), owned by Ken Stovel, and  Sam Schaffhauser and Master Pepto (Peptoboonsmal x Shiney Missy), owned by Lyle Lovett! Tim and Sam are very thankful to Ken and Lyle for letting them show these very nice horses! Also on Saturday was the USEF Youth Qualifier, where Lexie Stovel was Champion with her horse Solano Glo Rey CT ("Jesse"). Congratulations, Lexie!

Sunday was the Non Pro Classic Challenge, the NRBC's 7 & Up class. Congratulations to Cade McCutcheon and Dun It Got Lucky (Hollywood Dun It x My Lucky Moonstone), Champions in the Level 1, Co-Champions in the Level 2, and tied for third in the Levels 3 and 4!
