Congratulations to Tim McQuay and Hollywood Gotta Gun (Hollywood Dun It x Katie Gun), owned by Jerry Kimmel, for placing fourth in the Level 4 Open Futurity Finals! Tim also placed third on Hollywood Gotta Gun in the Prime Time Open, taking home over $67,000 in the two divisions! We never thought we would ever say that Tim was the highest placing American-born rider :-). Congratulations to Andrea Fappani and Arno Honstetter on their Futurity success!
Marco Ricotta tied for eighteenth in the Level 4 Open Futurity Finals with Showdownintinseltown (Gunner x Miss Tinseltown), owned by Dave & Bonnie Silva, earning over $12,000! Sam Schaffhauser scored a 211, with a 2 point penalty :(, on Smokinhollywoodchex (Gunner x Chex From Hollywood), also owned by the Silvas, in the Level 2 Open Finals. Dave Silva had a great time showing his gelding, Rubys Hollywood Kid in the Non Pro Futurity. A big Thank You to Dave & Bonnie for allowing us to show their very nice horses! 
Mandy also had a very successful Futurity, placing top five on all three of her horses! Mandy and Justa Smart Star were Reserve Champions in the Non Pro Level 4 Futurity, Mandy and Starbucks Deja Vu tied for third, as well as Mandy and Dun Git A Nicadual, owned by McQuay Stables, tying for fifth. She walked out with over $60,000! Dun Git A Nicadual is by Mister Nicadual, owned by Jerry Kimmel, and out of Gotta Git Ya Dun, owned by Monica Hicks. Great job, Mandy!!

A big Congratulations to Jerry Kimmel and all the Dun Gotta Guns and Mister Nicaduals who made the finals!! Great job to Trey Pool who tied for fourth with Jerry's stallion, Check This Dually (Mister Nicadual x Footworks Yellow Jac) in the Level 1 Open! Trey also placed seventh in the Level 1 with Nicastar Lite (Mister Nicadual x Dun It On A Star), taking home over $28,000 collectively! Way to go!
Lyle Lovett also visited, and had a great time showing his horses in the Non Pro Futurity, Limited Non Pro, and Novice Horse Non Pro 1 and 2. Congratulations to Lyle and his horse, Master Pepto, for placing fifth in both the Novice Horse Level 1 and 2! Lyle and his mares, Fifth Avenue Dun It and Mistress With A Gun, also had a great time showing in this class, as did his gelding, SNS Uvalde King, who he showed in the Non Pro Futurity. Sam Shaffhauser also placed six with Master Pepto in the Novice Horse Open Level 1! Way to go, Lyle and Sam!
Lexie Stovel enjoyed her visit to Oklahoma City as well, showing her two horses, Two Cee Command and Solano Glo Rey CT, in the Limited Non Pro, Novice Horse Non Pro, and Youth classes. We had a great time cheering Lexie on, alongside the Stovels! Good job, Lexie!
Claude and Becky Lindsey were also part of the team at the Futurity. Claude had fun showing his gelding, Rudy Dunit, in the North American Affiliate Championship Non Pro divisions, where he placed tenth in the Prime Time Non Pro, as well as with his mare, Roxy Gunner, showing her in the Non Pro Futurity! We enjoyed their visit and watching Claude in his classes! Great job, Claude!
We also featured three horses in the NRHA Futurity Prospect Sale, Claude Lindsey's 2009 buckskin stallion, Who Whiz The Boss (Who Whiz It x Rusty Reina), Sergio Elia's 2009 sorrel mare, Gunners Funny Face (Gunner x Freckle Face Rooster) and Marco Ricotta's 2009 sorrel mare, Gracefully Gunnin (Gunner x Gracefully Dun). We are glad to have had the opportunity to start these two-year-olds and wish them the best of luck in their new homes!
