Reining News!
The last month has been very exciting for Reining and the McQuay family. Mandy McCutcheon has been making history all her life, so it's no surprise she would also be induced into the NRHA Hall of Fame, and now the time is here! Mandy joins the likes of Tim, Gunner, and Hollywood Dun It in the Hall of Fame later in 2011. Mandy is the NRHA's Highest Money Earning Non Pro and the Association's only female and non pro Million Dollar Rider. We are so proud of her accomplishments as a horseman, daughter, wife, and mother. Congratulations, Mandy!
Just a few days later, the McCutcheons received more noteworthy news, this time for Tom. After Tom and Gunners Special Nite took the Individual Gold medal at last year's World Equestrian Games, they found themselves in the spotlight again in January, this time to be crowned USEF Equestrian and Horse of the Year. Tom is the first Reiner to receive this honor, and Gunners Special Nite holds a special place in our hearts, as he was raised and started here at McQuay Stables. Congratulations on your accomplishments, Tom!
In other news, Tim and the Reining team recently returned from Katy, TX, where they were part of the Greater Houston Quarter Horse Association "Texas Two Step" AQHA shows. Look for results coming soon! Our Reiners are now preparing for the 6th Annual Cowboy Capital Classic in Stephenville, TX, held next week. Tim and the team are very excited about traveling to Lone Star Arena in Stephenville once again; Click here for more information about the Cowboy Capital Classic and Lone Star Arena. Good luck Reiners!! New things also happening at the NRBC this year! Visit www.nrbc.com for more information.
