 2010 NRHA Derby News!
Tim McQuay returned in the NRHA Derby Finals on Rudy Dunit, owned by Claude & Becky Lindsey, and on RR Dunit Like A Star, owned by Lundin Farm. Tim and RR Dunit Like A Star scored a 223 to win the Prime Time Open Championship.    
 
Marco Ricotta also made the Level 4 Open finals on Reminic At Work, owned by David & Bonnie Silva, and on Fifth Avenue Shine, owned by Lyle Lovett.
 
A Big Congratulations to Mandy McCutcheon aboard Starstuck Girl, owned by McQuay Stables, claiming the Non Pro Derby Reserve Championship.
 Other Team McQuay Non Pro Derby finalists were Roger Musacci on Sugar N Ruf, David Silva on Electric Footwork, and Tracy Higginbottom on Diamond Chic Tari. 
Congratulations to Frankie Ordner, who scored a 142.5 in the Limited Non Pro class on Dunitinbrightlight, along with Lyle Lovett on Mistress With A Gun, Jerry Kimmel on A Ruf Master, and Cade McCutcheon on I Spin For Chics, who all went home with a winnings check. 
 
This was Cade's first time showing in the Limited Non Pro class, scoring a 140.5! Cade also scored a 143 on Okie Dun Did It (Tango-see short piece on Tango in SmartPak Catalog), owned by McQuay Stables, to tie for Reserve Champion in the Youth 13 & Under division, as well as claimed the AQHA 13 & Under Championship.

USHJA Hunter/Jumper News!
 
McQuay's Hunter/Jumpers are preparing for a four week show circuit in Kentucky. They leave on July 23, 2010 and return August 22, 2010. 
 We wish them the best of luck!

From the Breeding Barn
2010 has been a stellar year in the breeding barn!! As the season is quickly coming to an end, I would like to personally thank all of the mare owners who bred to our stallions. It has been a pleasure working with all of you and we look forward to serving you again next year. Please be sure to book your mares early and share your baby pictures upon their arrival next Spring!

Hollywood Dun It does it again!
dunitHollywood Dun It is now a six million dollar sire! Casey Deary will serve as Team USA alternate at the World Equestrian Games with Rootin Tootin Dunit (a Hollywood Dun It grandson). 
   
Another milestone for Gunner, as he reached the two million sire mark! Gunner's Special Nite (Gunner x Mifs Doll) made Team USA to compete at the World Equestrian Games.

McQuay's Reiners will travel to St. Paul, Minnesota from August 3-8, 2010 for the North Central Reining Horse Association Futurity.
 
They will also show in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Ariat Classic from August 31-September 6, 2010.
