Ringling College of Art and Design recognizes that artists and designers play a significant role in society. On exhibit at MoTA.

 

Time Machine Tuesday Movie Matinees

Feb. 7: Couples 3D Side By Side Heart (Ages 10+)

Feb. 13: The Highwaymen: Florida's Self-Taught, Renegade Artists

Presented By Gary onroe - Free Admission at Sebring Civic Center, 6:00PM. Discussion will include the famed Highwaymen and other notable Florida artists. Sponsored by the Florida Humanities Council, Sebring CRA, City of Sebring and Inn on the Lakes.  Details at www.HighlandsArtLeague.org.

 

Feb. 13: Bootleggers Ball - Roaring 20s Kick Off

To kick off the 32nd Annual Roaring 20s Festival, the Bootleggers Ball will be held at the Circle Theater from 6-9 PM with libations, food samplings and music.  Tickets available at Circle Theater.  Proceeds benefit the Downtown Sebring Business Alliance.

 

Feb. 14: Roaring 20s Arts & Crafts Festival

Downtown Sebring will be having a "roaring" good time during the 32nd Annual Roaring Twenties Arts & Crafts Festival from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.  Nearly 80 craft, art and food vendors will convene around Sebring's historic downtown Circle to celebrate Sebring's 1920's heritage.  www.Roaring20sFest.com.

 

Feb. 20-22: The Men of Meh Jongg

The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is pleased to announce that several new businesses have opened recently or plan to open soon in the Downtown Sebring CRA district, as well as a few businesses that have re-located within the CRA District.

In addition, the Highlands Art League's Yellow House Gallery & Gift Shop welcomed three new Studio Artists in January. Linda Kegley, Caroline Maxcy and Bill Dailey all opened art studios inside the historic house.
 

"We are thrilled to have so many new businesses and artists locating in the Downtown Sebring district," said Mark Gose, chair of the CRA Board of Directors. "This continued increase in new business activity and artistic creativity strengthens our Downtown Sebring core as a popular destination for visitors and residents."
