Feb. 8: Destination Downtown Sebring's "Art, Heart & Soul Stroll"
Held the second Friday of each month, Sebring's Downtown comes alive with the unique and enjoyable monthly Destination Downtown event featuring music, shopping, dining and strolling around the historic Downtown area! Feb 9: Roaring 20's Arts & Crafts Festival

Held the last Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m., these informational meetings are a way to share news and happenings with anyone interested in Downtown Sebring.  Meeting locations rotate to various places within the Downtown Sebring district.  Call CRA office for info, (863) 471-5104.

Feb. 27: Sebring Rotary Club Annual Spaghetti Dinner
A fundraiser for the Sebring middle school bands, this annual dinner began in 1964 and is a Rotary tradition.  For more information, call (863) 471-9900.

Feb. 28: Circle of Speed Beer & Bratz
To kickoff the 12 Hours of Sebring Mania, Plan B Promotions, The Heartland Riders and the Sebring Chamber of Commerce will host the Beer and Bratz on the Circle in Downtown Sebring.  Live Music, Beer, Bratz and the opportunity to meet and SVRA race cars and drivers.  For more information, contact Lora Todd at (863) 381-6467.

  • The Children's Museum of the Highlands welcomed their newest exhibit "Cracker Crops and Cows," which contains a Cracker house, fake fruits and veggies that kids can pick, a chicken coop with eggs, and a milking cow.
  • Dogtown USA (Opening Soon) at 112 N. Ridgewood Drive will be the best dog-gone store in town for our four-legged friends.   
  • Galleria 301 (301 Circle Park Drive), formerly known as the old Gilbert's Drug building, has been transformed into a shoppers paradise with the re-located Still Chic Boutique and LK Artworks by artist Linda Kegley. 
  • Lucid Heart Gallery (131 N. Ridgewood Drive) is a co-op art gallery featuring the works of local artists Joseph Anthony, James Ward, David Powers, Bill Dailey & Fred Leavitt. 
  • PRAZ Kidz Coffee House (113 W. Center Ave) is the place to to 'perk' up and find delicious treats and is host to several community and family fun nights and after-school tutoring.  
  • Making Masterpieces (215 N. Ridgewood Drive) is a fun and relaxed paint-your-own-pottery studio where kids and adults of all ages have the freedom to channel their artistic force into creating their own "masterpieces." 
  • McLane's Garden Cafe (420 N. Ridgewood Drive) has been so successful, they purchased the lot next door and are planning to expand. 
  • Molly's Treats (110 N. Ridgewood Drive) is the perfect location to pick up delicious cupcakes and refreshing ice cream, as well as cookies, scones, brownies, pretzels, and smoothies. 
  • Twin Oaks Tea Room (236 N. Commerce Avenue) is renovated and under new ownership where Bea and Celestine are busy with lunch and special events in this charming location. 
  • The new Weight Watchers upstairs Circle location (211 Circle Park Dive #7) is busy sharing their revolutionary new program that helps clients lose weight when it often feel impossible.

Downtown Sebring Map Available Makes Navigating Easier 

The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency  (CRA) map is pleased to announce its new Map of Downtown Sebring that makes locating points of interest and businesses in Downtown Sebring easier for tourists and residents.

The two-sided, foldable brochure features attractions, entertainment, things to do, restaurants, health/beauty, professional services, and retail locations.  It also highlights public parks, parking, restrooms, ATM machines, cultural and community points of interest.  The comprehensive map provides directions to Downtown Sebring from the Airport/Raceway, Highlands Hammock State Park, Sports Complex and from U.S. 27.  One side of the map features the entire 650-acre CRA District.  The other side features a map that is a larger view of the Circle and Cultural Center.  Front cover artwork provided by local artist Linda Kegley, a member of the Highlands Art League located in Downtown Sebring.

These free brochures can be picked up at the Sebring CRA office (368 S. Commerce Ave.), the Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce offices (both Downtown and highway locations), the CVB office (across from Government Center on S. Commerce), at various merchant stores throughout Downtown and at several area hotels.
