Spring has Sprung! Claremont is enjoying absolutely gorgeous days almost every day! I checked the future weather forecast and it looks as though there is still some possible rain in our future but for now, the sun is out and the flowers are blooming.
Please take note that our summer hours will begin shortly.
Our cubbies are brimming full of beautiful yarns - we have lots of new classes coming up, so, all in all, Colors is all set for late spring, early summer. Come knit, crochet or spin with us at the table in the heart of the store which is in the heart of the Claremont Village!

Summer Hours
Starting on May 13th, we will be shortening our hours a bit, so we can continue to be open seven days a week.
Starting May 13th, Colors 91711 hours will be:
Sunday: 12pm - 4pm
Monday: 3pm - 7pm
Tuesday: 11am-6pm
Wednesday: 11am-8pm
Thursday: 11am - 6pm
Friday: 11am - 9pm
Saturday: 11am - 6pm

New Stuff In The Shop
We have some fresh, new yarns along with restock of some of our favorite yarns and notions.
Ewe Ewe Yarns: Ewe Ewe Yarns Wooly Worsted Washable is 100% merino superwash yarn, spun in Italy and full of luxury at a great price. Wooly wants to come home with ewe! With 95 yards per skein you can work up your favorite projects with one or all of our colors of yarn.
Lorna's Laces: We are introducing you to Lorna's Laces with their Sheperd Bulky yarn. Sheperd Bulky is a bulky, 100% merino superwash wool. This is a great yarn for hats, scarves, cowls and blankets.
Slipped Stitch Studios: Not only have do we have new, fun fabrics in all of her bags, pattern wallets and magnets; we now carry Travel Scissor fobs that are airplane compliant.
Malabrigo: Introducing one of our newest yarns, Mecha, which is a bulky, Merino Superwash Wool, that comes in many beautiful colors Malabrigo is know for. For all our Malabrigo Rios lovers out there, we have many new, along with restock of some favorite colors.
Manos del Uruguay: Maxima is a super soft and squishy kettle-dyed yarn. The worsted weight one-ply construction makes it a great all purpose yarn, and the fantastic yardage makes it perfect for 1 skein accessory projects. Fun, bright, intense colors will make your hand made item stand out from the crowd.
Felted Bag Lady: Lydia Falotico has made it her mission to repurpose yarn from previously worn sweaters. She carefully selects the sweaters, etc. based on type of fiber, fiber quality and color. Then the yarn is washed and hung to dry in a pet-free and smoke-free environment.
