This Conference seeks to encourage, train, and resource small church pastors who desire to grow their churches, as well as provide an opportunity for connection building and fellowship.
The keynote speaker is Dr. Dane Aaker, of Centerpoint Church, Colton, CA. He will address the issues and questions specific to smaller churches, such as:
- How do you turn your dream into reality?
- How do you find your unique calling as a church?
- How do you overcome discouragement and keep moving forward?
- How do you find inexpensive and simple ideas that reap big results?
- How do you produce greater results by doing less programming?
- How do you develop effective sermons with limited time?
- What would your church need to change in order to double its impact in your community?

SPEAKER DANE AAKER
Dane Aaker has pastored Centerpoint Church in Colton, CA for 27 years. He led the church through a difficult division leaving only 89 members with a pastor who had heart and vision. Dane will address the loneliness and exhaustion a solo pastor experiences, the challenges of raising up ministry volunteers and building a dedicated staff. He'll highlight his faith that directed him to 1) keep the ministry structure simple, maximizing its impact, and 2) bring music and message together for a dynamic worship service. For the past 20 years, Centerpoint Church has experienced steady conversion growth and has become a multi-ethnic, multi-generational congregation. Today, the congregation of 1400 meets in 6 worship services in a church built in 1926 that seats 350. They recently celebrated their 125th anniversary.
