One of the advantages of being a distributor is that we can offer our dealers the opportunity to train with multiple manufacturers in our industry. Encon held 3 training seminars in the past 3 months and we have another event scheduled on July 16th with USAutomatic and Security Brands, Inc.
We are extremely fortunate that lead technicians and often the owners of these companies come to train our customers one-on-one. Attendees receive first-hand installation instruction on new products which keeps them at the forefront of knowledge and technology. They also gain useful troubleshooting guidance which minimizes time on the job site and ultimately leads to more money in your pocket.
This month's Insider is a combination of upcoming events, exciting new products, and a recap of the seminars we've held recently. Please keep reading for all the details and your opportunity to register for our Star Wars-themed annual golf tournament!
As always, thank you for your continued support of Encon, and we hope you enjoy these busy Summer months.
Sincerely, Jeff Harris VP of Sales and Operations

Encon Leads Industry with Dealer Training
Summer Seminar Recap
May 4th Encon welcomed LiftMaster training guru, Bill McCoy, and Radio Controls Sales Manager, Sherry Johnson, for a traditional training seminar. McCoy highlighted LiftMaster's expansive line of gate operators and Johnson covered their Passport products and radio controls. In addition, attendees were one of the first people to learn about their exciting new wireless keypads which are now available at Encon.
We hosted HySecurity on June 9th for back to back two-hour training sessions. HySecurity owner, Brian Denault, led the training day and Technical Trainer and Sales Engineer, Daniel Butler, and NW Regional Sales Manager, Bob Vetter, conducted the training presentation. Click for full HySecurity Seminar Recap.
All-O-Matic Sales Manager, Luis Gutierrez, led an informal open house from 12-4pm yesterday at Encon's training facility. Our dealers were able to enjoy lunch and receive customized training on their extensive line of gate operators and were able to "drop in" at a time that was convenient for them. Gutierrez focused the training on All-O-Matic's new TORO actuator and the SL45 slide gate operator but guests could ask for training on any of their products.
Our goal is to keep the training relevant, interesting and flexible. As you can see, we experimented with a few different formats this month. We encourage you to contact us with suggestions and/or ideas for future events and welcome your feedback on these recent events.
