In order to keep compliant with the new regulations being handed down by the Consumer Finance Protection
Bureau (CFPB), and to meet the ALTA's Best Practices,
NorthStar will be sending all communications that contain non-public information through secured E-mails.
The secured E-mails will direct you to our website at www.nstitle.com. You will need to log in with your username and password in order to gain access to these secured E-mails. If you utilize our transaction management system, your user name and password is the same. If you have forgotten your user name and password, the E-mail will give you the opportunity to receive a password reminder.
Once you are logged in, please click on the My Closings header and there will be a box in the upper right hand corner that says "Click to Access Secured Messages." This is one way to access the messages. Another way is to click on the My Closings header and then in the drop down, click on Secure Messages. If users are not logged in, you will not be able to view the My Closings header.
If you forget your username and password, there is a link after you click Log In (in the upper right hand corner) that will allow you to send yourself a reminder. This may take several minutes to reach your inbox. These messages may also get trapped in your spam or junk folder. Please check these folders if you do not receive the message in a timely manner.
This may cause some inconveniences; however, all title companies are required to meet these standards. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in helping NorthStar comply with the new privacy rules. If you have any questions on accessing these secured E-mails, please call 216.623.3655.
