NorthStar Closing Site Tutorial

 

Closing Site allows you to:

• Share and manage documents online
• Have secured documents in order to protect the privacy of the parties in a transaction 
• Coordinate closing events with other parties
• Send and receive automatic E-mail notifications
• Access closing party contact information
• And much more!

Every party to a transaction has documents available to them 24/7 through NorthStar's Closing Site at www.nstitle.com. As a party to a transaction, you will receive a log-in username and password to use to access the documents stored on Closing Site. Your username and password can be changed at any time by clicking on the "My Profile" link in the upper right hand of the screen. 

 

Upon log in, all of your active closings are available from the Closings List on the left hand side of the screen. By clicking on the file number and address associated with the file, the summary page will load. Closing party contact information is displayed. Secured documents will have an image of a lock icon beside it. Documents are locked down in each transaction so that only the appropriate parties have the ability to open and view documents from their side of the transaction. Documents can be viewed online, faxed or E-mailed. To add a document to the transaction, simply click on the "New Document" link and upload it on the next page.  

 

Tax and legals for agents can be found after logging into Closing Site under the My Closings tab and each agent has a folder entitled TL-(first name initial)(last name), example: TL-TMcDaniel.
