Although the weather has been pretty cold this week, we are looking forward to Spring! It's always re-energizing when the weather warms up and there is more activity in town. Here are ten things we're looking forward to this Spring:
- Ice cream treats from the Dari Barn, which is now open for the season.
- A disc golf course coming to Rock Creek State Park.
- Dining outdoors on the patios at the Peppertree, Relish and Prairie Canary.
- Bike rides through town, exploring the next section of bike trail and underpass on the west side of town.
- Central Park beautification getting underway.
- Afternoon ice cream cones from McNally's.
- The Farmers Market happening every Thursday and Saturday (begins May 12).
- The flowers beginning to bloom in the downtown planters.
- Golf courses opening for the season.
- Walks around the trail at Arbor Lake.
What are you most excited for this Spring?
