Submissions for next week's newsletter may be emailed to chamber@getintogrinnell.com. Submissions are due by 5 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Although the weather has been pretty cold this week, we are looking forward to Spring! It's always re-energizing when the weather warms up and there is more activity in town. Here are ten things we're looking forward to this Spring:
  1. Ice cream treats from the Dari Barn, which is now open for the season.
  2. A disc golf course coming to Rock Creek State Park.
  3. Dining outdoors on the patios at the Peppertree, Relish and Prairie Canary.
  4. Bike rides through town, exploring the next section of bike trail and underpass on the west side of town.
  5. Central Park beautification getting underway.
  6. Afternoon ice cream cones from McNally's.
  7. The Farmers Market happening every Thursday and Saturday (begins May 12).
  8. The flowers beginning to bloom in the downtown planters.
  9. Golf courses opening for the season.
  10. Walks around the trail at Arbor Lake.
What are you most excited for this Spring?
