 Happy 4th
We are very excited for a gorgeous Fourth of July weekend here in Grinnell. We hope you are able to spend time relaxing with family and friends and enjoy the celebration of our nation's independence.
Whiplash takes the stage tomorrow night at Friday Fest. This band made its debut at the Grinnell Middle School talent show, and they are still rocking together years after graduating, getting jobs, and having families. We hope you will join us on Main Street downtown from 7 to 11 p.m. tomorrow. Admission is free and there will be live music, inflatables for your kids, and a beverage garden.
The parade begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday and will follow its traditional route (click here for route details). Our parade grand marshalls are Sandy and Betty Moffett of Grinnell.
Fireworks will take place at approximately 9:45 on Saturday evening at Ahrens Park.
Thank you so much to our sponsors for this weekend's festivities! They are Ahrens Park Foundation, Grinnell Hotel-Motel Tax Committee, ASI Signage Innovations, Grinnell College, Oakland Acres Golf Club, and Doll Distributing.
