80 AND SUNNY

The forecast shows tonight as sunny and close to 80...what a perfect night to be downtown for the first Friday Fest of the summer. Cody Hicks will be on stage playing country originals and covers from 7 to 10 p.m. We will have the beverage garden going and a bags tournament. Bring a partner to enter the tourney (sign up starts between 6:30 and 7:00), cost is $10 and there will be cash prizes. Winning team gets a free entry into next weekend's bags tourney at Grinnell Games. We will also have inflatables set up for the kids to enjoy tonight. The party will be on Main Street between 4th and 5th Avenues (street closes to traffic at 5 p.m.). Friday Fest begins at 7 p.m., so that leaves time beforehand to go out to eat at a local restaurant. See you tonight!
