Retail Therapy Night is Tonight!

One common thing we hear from the public is that few of our retailers are open in the evenings. Well, today is your night to get out and shop. It is Retail Therapy Night and many businesses will be open until 8 PM. They each have a variety of activities, prizes and promotions planned for you during the event from 5 to 8 so please support their efforts to stay open late by visiting them tonight.

 

Every purchase you make at a participating retailer during the event earns you one strand of beads. When you are done shopping for the night, you can turn your beads in to the Chamber of Commerce for entries into the grand prize drawing for a Grinnell Date Night prize package.

NEW SEEDS AVAILABLE AT THE SEED LIBRARY! The Imagine Grinnell Seed Library is housed at the Drake Community Library. People are able to check out seeds for both vegetables and native plants from the library free of charge.

DONATIONS NEEDED FOR ANIMAL SHELTER. Poweshiek Animal League Shelter is in need of monetary donations, donations of supplies, and volunteers. The shelter typically sees an increase in numbers as spring approaches and needs assistance to care for the animals.
