Quiz Us

On Monday, we posted a question on Facebook asking our member businesses to leave a comment telling us one thing they provide or sell that people might not know about. It has been fun to watch all the comments on it this week, and to see the replies from some of our Facebook fans who learned something new. Click here to read the comments ... maybe you will learn something new, too. And if you are a member who hasn't commented yet, it's not too late!

The next time you find yourself shopping online, driving out of town, or working with a non-local company, would you stop for a minute? Ask yourself if you're 100% sure you couldn't give your business to someone local. f you aren't sure, give us a call or send us an email and quiz us. You may stump us from time to time, but for the most part I bet we can help you find what you're looking for locally.

Next Thursday is a good excuse to get out and do some shopping in Grinnell because it is Retail Therapy Night. There are twelve businesses (and counting) planning all sorts of fun activities and promotions from 5 to 8 p.m. There's also the chance to win several terrific prizes including a 'Grinnell Date Night' package. See the full details here.

And in case you missed our announcement on Facebook yesterday, here is the 2015 Friday Fest band line-up.
