Farmers Market

The weather may be dreary today, but our staff, and our vendors are anxiously preparing for the start of the Farmers Market season which begins Thursday, May 14! We will again have two markets: Thursday afternoons from 3-6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10a.m. to noon, and our staff is busy working on several new activities, along with vendor recruitment. If you or someone you know may be interested in becoming a vendor at the Grinnell Farmers Market, please reply to this email or have them contact our office - we're always looking for more vendors!

Additionally, we've got some new, fun things planned for the year including a special promotion on the Fourth Thursday of each month which is set to include kids' activities, cooking demonstrations, live music and animal visits from PALS. Each month will carry a different theme, with May's focus on planting gardens.

Did you know the Grinnell Farmers Market is 100% producer based, meaning all of the products available for purchase are made or grown by the producer or their family? If you've not been to the Grinnell Farmers Market before, or are excited for it to start up again, we encourage you to check it out several times between May 14 & October 24, and support our local farmers, producers, crafters and more.
