The last Friday Fest of the summer is tonight with Decoy onstage from 7 to 10pm. If you haven't heard Decoy perform before, click here to listen. They are amazing! There will also be a beverage garden and kids activities. We're looking forward to seeing you out on Main Street tonight. at Drake Community Library. The Community Education Council will be back in September with a great new line-up of classes for the Bucket Courses this fall.

is open Sundays from 1 to 4pm until the end of September.

THE FARMERS MARKET
is going great and there is a lot of variety of produce, crafts and other goods. Each week a vendor will be featured on the Get Into Grinnell blog and the Grinnell Farmers Market Facebook page. Three have been posted already, including Middle Way Farms , Doty Cattle Company   and  Posts will be accompanied by a recipe card of one of the vendor's favorite recipes and some photos. 

Grinnell-Newburg Educational Excellence (GNEE) will hold its second annual Night Golf Fun-raiser on Friday, August 9, starting at 8 a.m., at the Grinnell Golf and Country Club.  Teams of 6 can enjoy 9 holes of night golf, complete with appetizers, glow-in-the-dark golf balls and accessories,  and prizes for the top teams.  Businesses and individuals can sponsor this event or the cost is $70 per person ($30 cart rental if needed).
